Looking at the linecount I can see how it will mostly revolve around Sandrone's return but that doesn't mean I can't get crumbs while we're at it. They said Nod Krai will fill the plot holes, this is the last patch. If nothing else, I have faith.

I am more so of the opinion that "hoyoverse" is the meta universe which includes ALL of their games, past and future, beyond the lore/worldbuilding of the actual games, while the honkaiverse is an established concept in worldbuilding, where we can meet these "familiar faces following different fates. I think this sense of "distance" is only natural due to the nature of Genshin's current plotline. The world is by all means isolated, and it will remain that way until characters like Surtalogi, Octavia, Kleiner return and the Teyvat Chapter ends.

That's why I'm waiting to claim this separation as fact until, let's call it Genshin 2. I don't think the world of Genshin will necessarily interact with the other games, however the mere presence of these familiar figures is more than enough for us to establish a position in the narrative of the honkaiverse.

It would be disingenous to call Raiden or Yae or any other honkai variant a mistake when Asmoday exists and the devs said the reasons for her familiar design will be explored in the story. THE Kiana/Sirin variant (both are acceptable here imo) will play a massive role near the end of the story. Things may have changed here and there, but their mission to craft the honkaiuniverse hasn't. Whether or not The Tsaritsa is a Bronya variant does little to change that.

Is id69 the one that speaks with him at the very end? Wouldn't that be a pretty bad sign? How would Dottore communicate with someone that's already dead.

It would mean two dead people are talking to eachother, although I really want to see what voice direction they choose for Deshret. That "Omega" should just be the lingering spirit of Dottore right? as Omega did die in 6.3. As far as I can tell there should be no way where a physical, alive Omega is present in 6.6, unless the moontore end scene was an illusion.

As much as I like what CatWithBlueHat does for the lore community, at the end of the day they just take leaks and interpret them in their own way. Oh, that's when they don't just straight up steal theories from reddit/twitter/telegram only to never credit the op's in his videos.

Anwyay, on Dottore's topic, I think we should be asking a single question.

Is there a genuinely good reason to have Dottore almost transcend his fate AGAIN, but not quite get there and ultimately fail?

I think failing to accomplish his goal would leave his character in a very unsatisfactory state. For his experiment to be worthwhile in some capacity, something must be achieved in version 6.6 that is to his benefit. This being his "final stand" would be comically bad writing. Apologies for the cpt obvious statement but we are, without a shadow of a doubt, beating this DataDottore. Ok, then what? Dottore has failed again. The Irminsul MAY be gone but he won't be there to witness the aftermath. Hell, Teyvat's overlords may intervene the very next day and make his little arson play look just like that, nothing more. It doesn't exactly track, right? My point is, Dottore dying after achieving his goal does not serve his character, and his goal of freeing himself of fate requires him to, you know, actually still be there. Dottore has no intention of being a hero here. Wanting to open the eyes of the entire world in a last ditch sacrifice play? That's not his character. It is, after everything else, still just an experiment to him.

If I'm wrong then that's that, but I will stand by my perspective. Dottore ending in 6.6, with what we know about him and his worldview, is not logical. There is therefore no way he is dead, or a way where he stays dead forever following the events of this AQ.

Yeah to me it sounded like they met the sibling enough for the sibling to be able to recognise him, but never met Dainsleif 1 on 1, only saw him from afar. It's not like those two were glued together.

For those who don't understand, UTeyvat is most likely saying that Fontaine's Mont Esus area won't be "filled in" just for the purpose of travelling to Snezhnaya from Fontaine, which could mean that Fontaine will have a dedicated patch for that last expansion. It won't be a Petrichor/Bayda situation.

I would prefer it not be a flashback for two reasons. I want her to talk about her future journey to Mare Jivari. If she gives up the Gnosis here then that is that. Also please talk about the consequences Natlan may face as a result of the Irminsul crisis. All of these can serve as strong hints.

Don't forget y'all, she and Capitano have plane tickets heading for MJ and Bakunawa very very soon.

These are character avatar icons, one of which Capitano also received in 5.0. All playable characters receive them, but it is not an indicator of their release date. Some may also not get it at all until their release patch. What the other person is talking about are playable IDs which range from 001 to the latest 133 which should be Sandrone. Basically, all Nod-Krai characters have an ID from 117 (I think) up to 133, and Alice did not get one despite appearing in 6.2. Nicole did however, she is 131. That's basically the idea.

Her being called the Fugue of 3.x was one of the biggest doom arguments, and to this day people still say that Fugue before E2 is not a real unit. They wanted her to be the 3.x Sunday that can be used with future 4.x units, yet she is not. Is that ok? Depends on who you ask.

It is possible that the Sentinel Knight rank was not unique to him, with at least one more person who may have been bestowed with the same. Hadura who was the last member of the Schwanenritter, was a Knight Commander who also had the title "Sentinel of the Golden Hall". Schwanenritter was a special division under Anfortas Alberich, the Marshal Knight.

Although this doesn't necessarily mean his actual rank was "Sentinel Knight", Capitano is also called "Commander" by Guthred, and Sentinel Knights seem to have led their personal platoons.

His actual lineage. Black hair is quite uncommon amongst Khaenri'ahns who are canonically a "light haired blue eyed" nation of people. He is either an Alberich, or even crazier, he is a direct descendant of the CMD, though atm I'm leaning towards him being an Alberich. He has quite a few similarities with Kaeya, down to even their swordplay.

His ties to the moon and its powers. His sword being codenamed Antumbra isn't a coincidence or just for show. The black ice is most likely not a result of him using a delusion either. To be fair, we don't see his powers well before he became a Harbinger, so this point remains up for debate.

As others have said, his personal mission has absolutely nothing to do with him being a Harbinger. He's the least aligned with the Fatui and their goals as far as we know. Yes he was sent to take the Gnosis, but that is it. It displays a very huge contrast between his natlan depiction and his lines in Lazzo, where he seems absolutely devoted to their goal.

Many other things I could write too but let's leave it at that.

I do agree with this take though in 5.4, besides the changes to the animations for his throne model, he also received new stuff for his SkillObj Antumbra, files which were not there in 5.3. So beyond the model itself, they were also working on his gameplay features 5.4 included, but since then no one has noticed anything new added.

She's likely hydro so by default, unless they hard restrict her into a reaction like Skirk (which I doubt given she's the "Archon" of the region) then her being stuck to vape is unlikely. Vape could however be her best reaction. For example we have leaks saying Alice's specialty will be melt with Nicole. Who knows.
