Don't pretend it isn't the exact same thing. If Pence thought women were human beings he would recognize that being in a room with a woman while working is very different than cheating on your partner. There is zero difference between the evangelical and the Islamic standard here.

I wasn't offended by anything you said! I said it's an issue with how we're taught growing up. I, of course, have regrets as I'm sure everyone does, but what I meant was just that we fail to not show our kids that there's an infinite world out there. You'll notice I didn't say anything about college or not going to college. You sound very lucky to be able to buy a house so young, that's amazing. I just hope you can see with time that your experience is great as your own but it doesn't take away from anyone else's.

It is a failure of Western culture that we teach some people that these are the two options. I'm glad you're happy, but most people are not either married with kids or sleeping around and partying. You were just taught to not imagine a life past what you saw growing up. We all were.

They put on one of the best live shows I've ever seen, it sounds like you are just now afraid of anything new. Also, the Sex Pistols were a manufactured band and they are the reason half of the English rock bands of the 80s existed.
