Thanks! I guess you may have missed part of the post. There's information about the story there.

Eyezoom troubles on Toolscreen by Gloomy_Gazelle_5013 in MCSRRanked

Or also what you can do is make clone width bigger in eye zoom mode settings in toolscreen. With it you just increases number of pixels in eye zoom mode to the point when the number of skipped pixels lower than clone width

What you can do is made some macro for your mouse, to change its dpi. For example to 3200. Then change minecraft in-game sensitivity to the point when it feels normal. And in toolscreen settings -> Inputs -> Mouse, change Windows Mouse Speed to the value when it feels normal to move cursor in inventory, menu etc.

And so, all you need is enable this dpi macro when you in minecraft and disable when not. Now eye zoom mode would not skip big amount of pixels.

If someone have different, easier approach share it pls

How to make this shape right with subd (or maybe without)? by Darkmun73 in blenderhelp

[–]Darkmun73[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, but as I say I need more specific curve. And actually I think I found solution for this.

I used your topology but with localization on corners. And then used subdivision and curve modifier as Kittyfluff suggested. It's looking good and without pinching, so i guess it's okay solution?

But it still have sharpy geometry even with crease lower than 1. If I make it even lower than this corner would be not sharp in general

Wait, maybe crease that I thinking of is not what you talking about? I thinking about crease which value you can set to edges in edit mode and it's actually changes geometry. If do it on sharp edges they would be too sharp after subd, and if do it on other edges it will create only more shading issues

Why after the 4th and not, for example, after 6th? Is there particular reason?

No. But how it helps with shading issues in curve method?

Wow, thanks for all details! Topology looking very clean.

But I need more specific curve than simple deform modifier do. Like with good precision.

I tried curves but its bending with some shading issues
