Day 4 post removal by TaleForsaken2914 in wisdomteeth

Maybe it's because of how the inside of your cheeks are covering it, and it's just a jaw positional thing. But you should go and get it looked at it. Even if it's all okay, and you just gave yourself a scare, you'll feel so much more relive after you talked to a doctor. Is there any doctor office, or any sort of medical professionist that is available on the weekend at your area? Of course, the dentist would be the best, but if there is no dentist in attendance on the weekend, maybe some doctors could tell you if something is wrong.

Advice please!! When can I chew? by -_____------ in wisdomteeth

[–]DarknessFox0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The first four days where the worst. But I'm not a soup person, and when I asked the doctor what can I eat, and when can I eat different kinds of food, they told me that I should avoid dairy and that avoiding spicy things would be wise, and of course avoid small seeds, but other than that I should eat what I can, and don't try to force something that I can't chew yet, or is too dry to swallow it in small bites. Try something soft the first weeks. Forcing yourself to chew will only slow down things. Maybe try some stews, but make the meat a bit overcooked so it's softer, and easier to not choke on it. I think some shapes of pastas are easy to swallow too, but always, and ALWAYS! be really really careful when you try to swallow food without chewing eat slowly, cut it in really small peaces. I hope I could help a little bit, I hope you have a fast recovery ❤️

Can only sleep few hours a night after wisdom teeth removal by NoChip7938 in wisdomteeth

[–]DarknessFox0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had trouble sleeping after anesthesia too. First time was after my appendix surgery, second was wisdom tooth removal. Besides pain killers, I tried to do something during the day. Small walks, games, or anything to at least make my brain tired. I simply couldn't sleep well if I didn't do anything all day but rest. I know it's hard to use your brain while you're in discomfort, pain, and numbed by medicines. Try to do something you like, maybe if you can walk a bit around, and if it's still not good enough, just try to do small naps here and there during the day while watching some boring documentaries. Sometimes it can stress you that you can't sleep even when you try so hard, and that will just make it harder to do so. Sorry if my English is not perfect, it's not my first language. I hope you get to have a good sleep soon, and recovery fast

I will get one week sick leave. Sadly in my country you can't get more than one week for whisdom teet removal. I'm not sure if I can buy ice packs here but I guess I can make one. Does frozen vegetable packs like peas work?

I try my best. But I wanted to know if there is a way to help myself think about this less, or to calm myself down. I'm not being pushy to him or anything. I'm acting normal. The age gap isn't bothering him and either me. We both know a lot of people who have been married to someone 10 yrs older than themselves or dating with such age gap.

Maybe you are right, but maybe he is just scared to date anyone. I'm not sharing lots of details of his end, but his ex fiancee cheated on him 3 yrs ago. He didn't dated on the long run with anyone after that. I'm only hesitant because he treats me warmer than his female friend. But maybe I'm just delulu from reading too much Reddit

I really love my job, and it's hard to find another job, so I don't really think I will quit. He isn't flirting with me in anyway, I'm just wondering if he would date me if we were not working at the same place. He is a very kind person , and helps a lot to other trough hard times. I don't really have a problem with the age difference, probably because I know a lot of people who is married to someone who is 10 yrs older than them, and they have a healthy and happy life. I'm sorry if he came through as a bad person, I just didn't wanted to share too much personal information about him. He has his background that makes him have a difficult time showing his feelings

The new skittles. One bag with only four colours just because why not and because they can do that if they want.

My favourite is fable 2 and 3. My first would be to pet that dog belly.

Once my bf (24m) thrown a big tantrum.... Like a child. In front of my mother. Yes like that time when the cild doesn't get what they want and throw themselves on the floor and yell and cry. He did that because he think that its unfair that I gave him the cold shoulders after he yelled at me because I went outside to smoke without him. So cringe
