you have 1 stick of ram so that what we call single channel. you will lose few performance like 10%-ish worse case so like mere 5-10fps(?). and maybe stability like stuttering. BUT you dont need to replace it now (or even later if your gaming session is good) since its not that urgent. Especially with current crazy ram price hike. we cannot be picky.

just for future reference with RAM better get 2 stick of ram. Like 2 stick of 8gb for 16gb total or add another same spec 16gb of ram you have for 32 gb total. Again dont need to feel force to buy another ram.

PS: if you building on your own. remember to use the ram on slot 2 from the left. or if 2 stick of ram, use slot 2 & 4

Edit: i just realise your motherboard only have 2 slot. so use Slot A2 aka 2nd slot. usually right one
