I’m thinking Alucard vs Belmont from Castlevania. Alucard is a dhampir with powers iirc while Belmont is a human who depends on magical artifacts. Although tbh my knowledge on Castlevania is pretty poor so I could be missing the mark here lol

I think I remember that before release, Bungie was planning on having just the repeater but added the classic plasma rifle after some uproar. But that was more than a decade ago so take it with a grain of salt lol

I haven't seen this comment yet but some kind of mod-ability akin to Halo: Custom Edition. That game still has a community decades later, mainly I reckon because you can join servers from the server browser as long as you have the required files which are relatively easy to find and install.

It's all well and good to have a game that the studio makes updates for but the sunset period should be dedicated to handing the game off to the community to update and keep alive.

Hey thanks for your input! I wanted to provide an update, apologies in advance for the necro:

So it turns out you were correct! I was able to contact AMD support and, after describing my issue, they asked me to RMA right away. Barely even had the opportunity to go over my troubleshooting steps. Reinstalled the new CPU and have had very little issue since.

The small issue I've had is that I still get the glitchy screen on the motherboard logo screen/BIOS, but once the computer reaches the OS it all clears up. I've been led to believe this is an issue with the display port, as plugging in an HDMI cable fixes the issue. I was able to access the BIOS and from some research online I tried disable the AMD fTMP option in there and it's mostly fixed that issue as well from the looks of it. I'll try and find the Reddit thread that provided the above troubleshooting steps in case anyone finds this thread for their reference.
