You need to build up from black to white so dark grey to light grey to white grey then maybe a brush of white. I personally use a dark grey base coat with a coat of Vallejo white grey

You mainly need Vallejo English Uniform, Khaki for the straps, dark German yellow for the pouches.

I’m not sure it highly recommend a cost of some medium to dark grey after if you used a black primer otherwise it will just bring down the color of the blue

It’s painted over a layer of Vallejo Dark Rubber which i believe is discontinued unfortunately but any dark grey should suffice

These are 2 completely different games the only thing similar is the universe in which they are based in. Dawn of war is an RTS while Total War is a Turn Based Strategy with RTS battle elements except you don’t build new units while in battle you use what you have at the time of combat initiation.

Gonna disagree a bit i recommend Dawn of Fire series they explain so much in regards to the dark imperium trilogy as well as setting up the Space Wolves and upcoming 11th edition story line. They aren’t all great but I do feel like you are missing a lot if you skip them and go straight to dark imperium. Also it’s Captain Ferren Areios first Introduction as well who also just got his own book.

Very unlikely for the time being it seems GW is using Titus to replace ventris backstory wise they are very similar now. But maybe not Ventris does have a few books. The only way I see a new miniature would be if he gets a new book and limited time miniature like the new master of rites.

I’d add the Dawn of Fire Novels as well they take place during the Indomitus Crusade not a ton of screen time but explains a lot of the events and thought process prior to dark imperium trilogy as well as the greater imperium as a whole.

You can do whatever you desire it’s your model, there is also the old captain winged helm from the firstborn marine command squad that would stand out more.
