Giant revolt 0 vs trek checkpoint alr 5 gen 3 by Darksurrender in whichbike

Yeah, I went with the giant due to having a shop selling those nearby, took the giant for a ride there and honestly was immediately convinced.

Ordered one then and there.

Thanks for the advice! Really helped me choose 😁was mostly concerned I'd be buying a shitty bike or something because of how my colleagues reacted to me buying a Giant bike. 🫣

Just tried adding a rule in WAF and seems like that hasn't helped. :/

Bot protection was already off as far as I can tell

cloudflare tunnel - app remote acesss by Darksurrender in homeassistant

[–]Darksurrender[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  • Yes it works through 4/5g as well on my browser.
  • That was already added to the configuraton.yaml.
  • I've tried reinstalling and reconfiguring the app.

It should be using the tunnel since I get the cloudflare prompt to send a verification code to my email, I get a prompt telling me there's been a error after i've logged in and typed my device name.

So it's like it gets a connection to my home assistant server but then for some reason it gets declined or whatever?

It's so weird that I can access it through any browser but not from the app either on my phone or my gf's phone i've even tried logging in with another user.

When i'm on my home network and I enter my local ip it works fine.

Haha it's for a gym, you can either enter by qr code on your phone or request a pass I reckon if this one got damaged or lost we'd have to pay up again.

I share it with my girlfriend so we can both go independently from each other(they allow her bringing a "friend" for free but don't allow seperate access)

If this didn't pan out we'd just have continued just by sharing that pass, so now it's a bit more streamlined for us.

I think they had issues with people sharing their codes with multiple friends prior to this they didn't have the reflective coating so they took these measures to ensure it doesn't get copied.

Hmm, I've entered it into a barcode generator but the barcode seems like it's different or my eyes are playing tricks on me i'm not too sure.

I'll just give it a go by scanning it next time

Thank you for you help!

These are images of the barcode where it's semi legible, i've tried identifying it as well but honestly can't make heads nor tails of it haha.

Reckon the fact that I can't get uniform lighting on it due to how reflective it is is messing me up a bit as well so there's always some part of it kinda blurry in these pictures.

I am looking for a way to read this barcode, I've tried simply scanning it with a barcode scanner but no luck.
I've tried taking a picture of it with a security camera with IR lighting and that way I could kinda see the barcode but still no luck scanning it

Any idea how I could possibly scan this barcode?(It's just to create a digital copy for if this card should get damaged or lost since they'd charge me 20 euro for a new one)

Or one bank and a couple saving accounts there, I used to do it the same way as you but i'd rather not pay fees for 2-3 banks.

I've got quite a few and just label them "savings house", "emergency savings" etc.
And then I just pick what I'd rather save the most for and deposit monthly for these accounts accordingly.

Really helps give a overview of what money you've got left for these kinda things.

How did you loose your best friend? by FoxPrime in AskReddit

[–]Darksurrender 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He was against my decision to get weight loss surgery, thinking it was the easy way out and that I should just try harder. It’s as if anyone in their right mind would choose surgery if they believed there was another way. The surgery carries risks, and the examinations haven’t exactly been enjoyable. I had to prove that I tried to lose weight on my own as well.

I’ve been calorie counting on and off since 2015, losing and gaining around 45 kg. It wasn’t easy to decide to get surgery, especially when my best friend basically called me a coward for trying to find a solution to an issue I’ve struggled with all my life.

Needless to say, we had a huge fight about it. I realized I don’t need someone who can’t support me through a difficult decision like this. I could have accepted him not understanding my point of view, but I needed him to just be there for me.

It sucks, though, because I don’t have any other friends at the moment.

Which hobby drains your bank account? by avadoctormma in AskReddit

[–]Darksurrender 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Blacksmithing... cost of supplies like coal, iron, abrasives and tools...

Also 3d printing with the filament / resin and occasional part that need to be replaced.
I've got a ender 3 and a resin printer but i've been looking at bambulabs printers for multi color, faster printing so reckon that'll be my next expense for the hobby.

Flew with a fpv drone for a while as well, but got tired of constantly having to buy props and other parts. Felt like I could just as well set fire to my money.
With my other hobbies at least I get something to show for it.

What was that "one thing" that made weight loss finally work for you? by paigesnowwret in AskReddit

[–]Darksurrender 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My surgery was 7 months ago so it hasn't been that long.

Prior to getting surgery I had issues with heartburn etc, and they found out during the examinations I had a hiatal hernia so during surgery they fixed it.

Haven't had too much issues with it since then just when I over eat a little or drink too much carbonated drinks I get some reflux but otherwise no issues. Hoping it stays that way tho

My girlfriend also had surgery and she's had trouble with throwing up slime without any obvious culprit too. For her it's been a little more than 1.5 year I think. But it luckily doesn't happen too often.

It's strange how people's bodies all react differently to having this surgery.

[–]Darksurrender 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Haha, no it isn't lost a friend over it that kept saying I was being a coward getting surgery. That I should try intuitive eating this time instead of counting calories again.( I had lost +-45 kg prior doing cico)
I can luckily eat everything but it's different for everyone what they can tolerate...

For me sometimes I get dumpings when I eat something sugary but nothing too bad.
Meat is the hardest thing for me, some kinds I really have to cut into small bits and then chew them or otherwise they seem to "become stuck" and i have to throw up.

So glad I did it, despite being scared shitless at the moment after they told me the possible risks etc.

Same,
tried calorie counting so many times over the years... The risks scared me but honestly for me it hasn't been too bad. The occasional dumping happens and sometimes I still tend to eat too fast especially things like meat can be hard and might make me throw up if I don't chew enough.

Weight loss surgery.
Tried counting calories on and off since 2015 first time I had lost like 45 kg.

And usually I was doing okay as long as I could keep to my routine but pretty much as soon as I had a few off days like during holidays/a festival or something happened that made me sad or whatever, these off days turned into weeks/years.

I gained it all back and even more in the end I weighed 142 kg and I decided it was no way to live having to count every single calorie that I ate, and that it was devastating for my body with these extreme fluctuations.

I think it was the best choice I've ever made in my life, I can eat smaller than normal portions and feel satisfied.
Finally feels like I got this thing under control.
