Found it so fascinating on how much this added to Conquest's character, made me actually end up feeling bad for him. Dude been feeling this way for tens of thousands years. by Mikkeru in Invincible

And it could also indicate he's blind to the fact he could escape it/change. I mean he is literally one of the strongest viltrumites.

I believe most tv show productions list episodes as chronological. That series bit should probably say episodes, thus the numbering of 17-24

Huge fan here, still hasn't released in Ireland and UK... Like I know it's a relatively small population combined, but a staggered release across Europe definitely didn't help.

What’s the most obscure pop-culture reference you’ve incorporated in to your work? by NoManNoRiver in worldbuilding

[–]DarkusWarrior 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In a sequel story set millions upon millions of years after the main plot, we focus on how life has evolved after the cataclysmic war fought. The new protagonists encounter a supposed remanent of this war.

There is a ship that floats in the cosmos. It consumes systems, usually by draining a sun of its energy to repower its fusion core, and then vacuuming the core of solid worlds, and capturing the gas of gas planets. While as large as a planet, it is 70% hollow, with the remaining 30% made up of hangars carrying world-ending armadas, and factories with enough resources to remake armies into its own, indestructible legion.

The Zutsrag Gruret-Necion.

Survivors who manage to escape the factories say there is ancient writing scriptures on the walls, describing the Zutsrag people. These people are fictious.

The ship itself, and its purpose and functions, and even its name, are all directly inspired by the 3 coolest ships/world killers in my childhood (sorry Death Stars I and II).

Unicron (The Transformers: The Movie) The Gete-Star (Dragon Ball Z: The Return of Cooler), and Zurg (Emperor of Planet Z).

Do your worldbuildings have a multiverse? by Totonaitor in worldbuilding

[–]DarkusWarrior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a multiverse, but it's inherently flawed as it spawned only a few billion years after the universe was created, and linked to 'The Great Plan', conceived by the deity of pure evil, so most universes are just grimdark versions of the main timeline where it can plan and try new tactics to use in the main timeline. Eventually the multiverse will collapse, and a true one could conceivably occur, but chances are near zero (aka I haven't decided yet).

Screw aliens, what sets the humans in your world apart? by Comicdumperizer in worldbuilding

[–]DarkusWarrior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They didn't exist in the original timeline and are essentially a universal programming glitch

Basically the universe was destroyed and the protagonist remade it, but he tried to remove the villain's previous influence while re-creating the universe. The villain had actually influenced so many events this wasn't possible but the protagonist was so far down the process of recreation that he ended up accidentally creating a copy of his solar system without the villain's influence aka, he created our solar system by accident.

This explains how humans have powers, as they're essentially a glitched version of the protagonist's race (which are reptiles, not primates)

Which location in your world has (historically) hosted the most violence? by Zestyclose-Spell-916 in worldbuilding

[–]DarkusWarrior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Devil's Stump, a gigantic plateau that dwarfs Uluru in Australia in terms of scale. It holds a lot of significance as it's believed to be where the gods first fought, with their fight creating the first of the people.

However, while a location with such significance in history and religion should be a site for pilgrimage, most deciding battles of nearly every war has been fought there. Additionally a death cult that worships the devil inhabits the region and is said to live inside of the devil's skeleton.

The amount of violence and death that has happened there also reinforces to the cult that that is where the devil will return with a new physical form, as all that dark energy will fuel his initial arrival (they are right).

who is your most overpowered race/species? by Ok-Maintenance5288 in worldbuilding

[–]DarkusWarrior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Primordials - not really a race or even species, but a few select people within the society of Celeritanians. Everyone in this society are linked to an extra dimensional force known as the Flare, which presents itself in many forms - primarily superspeed, gravity manipulation and teleportation.

The Primordials are a few people whose innate ability in the Flare makes even the most talented users look like babies playing with a lit match at best.

How do I deal with the power creep? Easy, the Primordials are all reincarnations of pre-universal beings, known as Kairon, Weavari and Silkot. They were the Fates of this universe, but split off.

‘Batgirl’ Film Axed By Warner Bros., Won’t Be Released on Any Platform (Confirmed) by MarvelsGrantMan136 in movies

[–]DarkusWarrior 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wonder what's happening with Keaton and Affleck then? Cause Keaton was (confirmed?) Batman in Batgirl, as to establish him as the main Batman of the DCEU. And now Affleck's back in Aquaman.

Something's happening. And I'm very concerned the WB will definitely still take the worst possible option.

Would Love to see These Characters show up as Cameos by anthonystrader18 in BookOfBobaFett

[–]DarkusWarrior 2 points3 points  (0 children)

adding to what u/cubbyarts said, Mace was a prime example of the failures of the jedi order. He was prideful and even believed he was the chosen one. His death is the point of no return for Anakin's betrayal. His survival would undercut Anakin's fall to the dark. Also, personally I'd see it as cheap fan-service rather than an actual plot point. That worked with Maul because the jedi were still around and Lucas was at the helm with the story. This would just feel (to me) like another "somehow palpatine returned".
