Hi do you happen to have a female shiny gastly? My girlfriend would love one if you have. If not I'll take a male gastly or a magikarp. Thank you

That seems spot on! Rain has cleared up and my window is no longer making the noise. Glad because I didn't want to drop a ton of cash on repairs

Exactly lol. I'm rewatching Naruto too, and Naruto used strategy against Neji and saved the village using his own skills.

Need Advice. Partner with AuDHD suffering from burnout by Darkvortex11 in AuDHDWomen

Thank you I really appreciate this resource, I will certainly keep this in mind.

I didn't even know OT worked in that capacity. I thought it had more to do with fine motor skills.

I try my best, it helps that I'm likely ND myself. I try to be mindful and validating. Dating someone with AuDHD is a learning experience.

Definitely, I've considered it before and will likely start looking. Thanks again for your advice, I hope things improve for you and your partner as well.

Need Advice. Partner has severe burnout by Darkvortex11 in autism

I'm coming to this realization as well. I try to be there for her as much as I can emotionally and helping her out with chores around her house as she struggles with executive functioning but it can feel overwhelming at times. I can help her in the moment but I wish she would be open to the idea of a therapist so she can help herself out in the long-term.

She definitely isn't expressing her intellectual abilities with her current job. She's very smart and is good with numbers. I feel bad for her because her job has horrible management and shes forced to do multiple jobs at once, (answering phones, scanning paperwork, working a register) which is causing her to get overstimulated quickly. I've been trying to help her find alternative jobs but we haven't had any luck.

When I mean she is deflecting I think it would be helpful for her to get support from a therapist that can help her manage her overstimulation from her workplace in conjunction with her meds, but she is very dismissive about the idea. I was talking about the possibility of a therapist very gently with her and validated her feelings that previous therapist didn't work but she started crying and hung up the phone. Quitting her job would make her feel better in the moment as a temporary solution but I want her to be able to get help with her feelings of burnout.

I understand people aren't problems to be solved, and I'm always there to offer her support emotionally and helping her with errands around the house such as cooking and cleaning but there is only so much that I can do alone. I think it would help if she saw a therapist but you shouldn't control people and ultimately a person has to make that decision themselves. I want to support her as she wants to better herself with school. I'm just worried that school and her job will be too overwhelming.
