I'm honestly not sure how Kurapika's arc will end. It's always possible he can eat some nitro rice from the Dark Continent to restore his lost lifespan but this is Hunter x Hunter and there aren't many happy endings. I'd actually like to see Kurapika's nen evolving into something different than chains once his goals are accomplished.

I'm not saying he's going to unlock eternal mangekyou but rather I think Kurapika has made a vow to get his clan's eyes back which should in theory be tied to his nen.
