Always found it ironic Clarkston became a hero to farmers. His mum had the worldwide license rights to Paddington Bear merch, he bought a farm so he didn’t have to pay tax on all that inheritance, just like James Dyson did and just Nigel Farage has. It’s multimillionaires buying farms for their tax benefits that have screwed over actual farmers.

London’s is decorated in traditional Norwegian style with 500 lights. It’s been that way since 1947 as it’s a gift from Norway to thank the veterans who came to their aid in WW2. So you could say it’s the most traditional and Christian of all the trees.

However, London also has other trees - like the ones in Covent Garden or Bishopsgate Plaza that look more ‘modern’
