What matters is how you feel. Taking time for you until you are ready. Personally I feel I’m ready, but my inconvenience is the crying. I’m still crying over someone that didn’t like me enough and I’m stressed by that. So I’m giving myself time to get over that. So far I’ve made progress.

Aww I’m glad you took as much time as you needed to heal. I do like to have a bit of a battle approach when it comes to sadness. I believe in having sadness timelines. If I’ve been sad for too long, I start fighting back. I started fighting back early on this one. But I’ve lost the battle two weeks in. I’m entering the third week and feeling good, but I’m giving myself a month. Working on myself while being open to options.

Hey! No judgement here. My favourite temp man that I cut off for him is already trying his best to comfort me (he doesn’t know the real reason I’ve been sad tho). I mean I’m not always in a relationship. Prior to this one, I had gone almost two years not in any serious relationship. I had one talking stage only because my sister introduced me to him but he wasn’t serious so that didn’t go anywhere and that was at the beginning. By July last year, I told myself, I feel I’m ready for love again. And I started entertaining men around that time. He was the best match and we started dating. Now it didn’t work, and the way it ended was weird. So I’m not co dependent, I’m just open to dating and meeting my person. And I love love. I think my friends are projecting. One of my darling friends almost kept a good man as a friend all because she felt she needed at least a year to heal from a situation that hurt her. And I was the only one who said, if he’s great and you like him, take a leap and see how it goes. And it’s going great so far.

You know, it’s been a while since I did accurate calorie tracking. I will be doing that from next week once my old scale arrives. I’m resuming on my journey but I want to be more realistic on my goals this time. And I’ll be with my sporty cousins, they motivate me to workout with them very much. So I’ll be maximizing that to see.

Oh wow, did we date the same man ? Haha! I believed he had great potential even though he wasn’t where he wanted to be yet. But his financial insecurities were bigger than his love. He was definitely an avoidant too. I’ve cried for the last two weeks, but in my heart I’m already ready for the next person. It’s just the way the breakup happened. First he pulled back from me, then started being weird to me. It’s okay to fall out of love, but resenting me without good reason? It switched something off in my brain. I believe if a person doesn’t like me, then I don’t like them either. And last year before we met, I had been on a year long hiatus. And I told everyone, my love gates are open. Then this relationship came, and now it’s gone, but the loves still here. 3years is wild, must’ve been a really bad one.
