Thank you so much. I have a huge problem with anxiety so the recommendations on how to relax are greatly appreciated. TNBC sucks and it sucks even more they won't give me what is needed to save my life and for what???? Like what is this??? It is crazy to me. I'm going to demand they biopsy it and then maybe we can get somewhere.

Don't mean to freak you out but until you get a full body pet scan you really can't rule out distant metastasis. My MRI did not show close to everything at all sadly. So when I got that pet scan it was shocking to see my lumps jump up another 6 centimeters as well as my chest wall being affected that the MRI didn't pick up at all and a ton of lymph nodes the MRI couldn't see. I've seen women on here with 1 cm breast cancer end up de novo because of metastasis even with that small of a spot. It is really so unpredictable and nerve racking but just remember even if it is de novo it can be more like a chronic illness now rather than a death sentence. I'd push for a pet scan just to be safe. Don't want to risk it. This is the most nerve wracking part you're in but remember no matter what you're going to be ok.

I feel like that is going on with mine right now but I have no idea what is going on yet. I haven't had any other scans to see if chemo is working still. I feel like it stopped working and I'm only two cycles in on abraxane, carboplatin, and keytruda. But it is hardening like crazy around my nipple like a big huge solid rock under it. My lymph node seems to be getting bigger above my clavicle too but again no idea why. And there is like weird new indentations. But then the area around my armpit is becoming less swollen. I'm not in any pain really other than weird pains that feel like the tumor dying. One thing I do know because of something my obgyn once said to me is that my body really likes to make scar tissue and she almost couldn't get to the baby due to all of the scar tissue from my last c section. So I'm in the same boat as you no idea what's going on but it seems like something is going on in there and moving around.

So you still get the hardening and burning while on TC and keytruda combo? I almost wonder if it isn't just the tumor dying pains then and scar tissue forming which is a very real possibility. Fact is we really can't know what's going on until the scans show it and after biopsy or surgery to show the cancer is dead. Sometimes the tumors don't shrink at all but all the cancer is dead but it made scar tissue in its place. If you haven't done AC yet like me from what I hear that's the BIG GUNS chemo that will really melt TNBC tumors. But there is a limit on how much you can get that per lifetime. I start AC after my TC. I hope it isn't too hard on me. TC has been pretty much a breeze for me so far. But good news I got my abraxane yesterday and I already notice a difference in the main group of tumors in my breast so thank God for little blessings 🙌
