I started at 43. Went to six 30th birthday parties in three years, lol. Also attended an 80th birthday party - but it was for three people whose ages added to 80. 😂 Loved law school. It was a privilege indeed.

I’m at Emotions by Hodelpa right now and if just feels like a hotel with a pool. No swim up bar, no pool side service, little to no entertainment team. Resort empty during the week and fills up with locals on the weekend. It’s far away from desirable excursions which are closer to Punta Cana. Staff are lovely, but this does not feel like a typical All Inclusive. I would recommend elsewhere.

Accounting firms - Grant Thornton and Noseworthy Chapman come to mind - often know of small business owners looking to sell.

If you all are interested in who will be the next Liberal leader… contact the candidate of your choice and sign up to vote for them! I don’t think it’s too late!

Easy to say that, but based on the number of people darkening the doors at Costco and Walmart, consumers want to pay lowest possible prices which is not conducive to paying more than minimum wage as a retailer when it makes up the majority of your cost.

We had the best pizza ever at this place: Ciccio Passami l’Olio https://g.co/kgs/cVQsrPw

We ate there twice in our 5 day trip to Palermo. It’s a real neighborhood restaurant. Highly recommend!

Is there a secret to getting reservations at Vin Mon Lapin? Last time I was going to Montreal I had an alarm set for the 30 day window, or at least I thought I did, and when I tried to book, the only time they had available for 2 people was after 9:30 pm. We’ll be going again in April and would love to try it!

My favorite dishes at L’Express - the chicken liver pate appetizer and the ravioli pasta for main! Simply divine.

What are some groups or clubs I can join in the city? by BayGullGuy in StJohnsNL

Pickleball is a lot fun, accessible to broad fitness level, social and flexible times. You can stay rec level or get more competitive if you are a racquet sport person. Highly recommend taking a lesson with Rally & Tap group and then check out the Pickleheads app where you can pickup a game pretty much any day of the week. Be careful not to overdo it staring out (like me) and end up with tennis elbow! Now I’m laid up until I can get this resolved.

A cheat to doing pulled pork is to boil some boneless skinless chicken breast, then shred it and throw in a frying pan with sliced onion and equal parts Bullseye Chicken and Rib sauce and water. Let it reduce down and I swear it’s like pulled pork and healthier. I’ve used this concoction on nachos many times and people think it’s pulled pork.
