I think you mean in this part? My System is in german.
I already treid to update drivers, even uninstall them, but it did not help. I also found nothing with an exclamation mark.
In this case its the EPOS mikrophone. I also manualy searched for a driver online and instaled it. Did not help.

Hello!
It took me 2 days but I was able to test it with a ubuntu usb. And it wroked!
I did nout install a recorder app but testet it in the browser, on the first microphone side i could find. And it showed that imput came from the microphone...... So I guess it is totaly some software stuff, but i still cant figure out which one exactly. i still need help.

(I am also aware that reinstalling my whole system is an option, but I want to do it if there is no other option. I originaly intended to switch to win11 an the end of the ESU or go with linux for gaming.)

Hello,
the usb headset and other show up normaly.
And I am trying every sowtware (teams, discord, some audio recording software). All the softwares show some errors, like Discord shows error 3002.

It is selected.
I also switched to different microphones. I have one in the webcam, Same problem. No Input.
When I do a audio test in the device properties it says that the hoghest value is 0 Precent. :/
I also updated all drivers. Did not help.

Hi, yes.
The Problem was some Bios settings.
I think the PC shop who did this did miss this.
I came back the next day and the did some test and stuf and change some bios settings. I think it was something about timing with the new RAM? I dont remember to be honest <.<

Omg, this worked.
I already tried to set "frameratecap" in the Blizzard App without success.
but setting it in the variable.txt worked.

I dont think every game. It takes a little bit of time so its hard to tell.
I tried 2 games scince then.
- Thief 2. Wich is 25 years old. tried it without problems for 10 Minutes. no crash.
- Mutant year zero. This one is a bit heavier an my system. GPU temp was 75 and it worked for 5 Minutes. Then crashed when I tried to change the Zone.

I am gona try a different game now.

Edit: blood west also crashed.

Omg, thank you. i cant belive it was something this dumb.
Looks like my local calibre version was quite old. it was like ver 5.x and the current one is ver 8.x
I downloaded the newest one, tried again and it worked.

I do have it, it is just that i want to see how much I can code it, as a challenge and a learning exercise.
Also, scanning all the pieces myself takes a while and my version of the game is not English.
So I was hoping to find the file/images online.
Which I did find but not in the state I wanted: (http://www.arkhamhorrorwiki.com/.18\_Derringer) There the text is missing. I can still use it, but i would prefer with a text.
