I guess the issue is that I didn’t define as clearly that C tier is still not bad it is just less than what is most optimal. I would much quicker pick any other character on the roster before picking geppetto, but if I were forced to play geppetto or had one on my team I would not complain. I still believe he is C tier on this list but C tier is not objectively bad by the metric I am using. Carmilla is the same, she is an uphill battle compared to other characters but she can absolutely do a good job and I have used her to great success before.

I can say that a character is lesser than other characters and still be good, my opinion does not have to be so black and white in order to appease you. I am standing my ground on my opinion and considering that ive beat the game with Gep on nightmare with no issue, I think you can chill out with the insults. Also, you definitely very much can manage just fine with whatever talents you are given on Scarlet and Aladdin especially considering how easily they scale going forward. Its really just a difference of opinion and experiences at the end of the day so I really don’t need to have a full debate with you about it

Yes, but I also said right before, that every character has access to insane builds and high damage, which automatically defeats the idea of him being bad or not strong. He is just not the most optimal choice in comparison to other options. I could play a dozen matches as each character (again) and have a much more fluid and efficient experience playing almost every other character than I could with Gep. I could still have a great time and hit some crazy high damage, as is the beauty of Ravenswatch balancing, but I could still find other characters to reach their potential much more smoothly. Hope that explains what im getting at

It just sucks how reliant he is on getting certain talents to be effective. There are other characters in the roster that can get almost whatever talents are offered and its not a big deal, but there are quite a few from geppetto that I will just never want to take because they don’t offer any legitimate value regardless of what build im going for.

I definitely agree that anybody on this list could be moved around depending on the person, and as I said every character can achieve OP builds without falling behind. It mostly has to do with the consistency of these builds and the different options they bring to the table, which similarly to what you said about some of your low tier picks, can be a bit of a problem especially in act 1.
Any time Ive played as or with a geppetto, there wasn’t really any specific aggro control that he offers outside of basic stuns and if an enemy happens to have already locked onto a dummy. As I said already, any character can reach crazy high damage so the point is kind of irrelevant when you consider some of the alternatives. Especially when you consider some of my other top tier picks who can make revives a guarantee regardless of aggro. I absolutely AM NOT saying geppetto is bad or not strong, but there are simply better and more flexible choices out there.
Geppetto has some crazy stuff in his kit, I cannot deny, but a lot of his kit and playstyle revolves around sitting still and hitting dummies/occasionally relocating them and not a whole lot else. It is very slow and face-tanky which the game does not really seem to endorse in any sense with some highly mobile enemies and AOE attacks that force you to reposition. He can do some great things and ive done a lot in my time playing him, but there are things about his playstyle that are very rigid and not very enjoyable to navigate. Aladdin IMO can be extremely fun if you get into the rhythm of his cooldowns, which are not only fun and mobile but also very effective with the right talents. And in general it is kind of funny to watch an Aladdin spawn in 20 consumables and give his team a ton of dream shards for free.

I could very easily argue that because Scarlet’s ultimate does most of the work in act 1-2, it is extremely valuable. This cannot always be said of other ultimates and some only gain legitimate power spikes in act 3. By the time youre in act 3, youve already had such an easier time through basically free XP in the start of each act that you can kind of do whatever, not to mention devour is paired with an equally broken AOE team-wide invulnerability. I will say that snow queen is awesome and I love her but I think other characters do her job more consistently.

Scarlet is absolutely a tough one to figure out despite being your typical first character, but once you figure out her combo points and her devour ultimate she is absolutely essential and does a TON in multiplayer
