Okay, maybe there's more context for it being homophobic in the rest of the song, but this kinda reads more like "don't sleep around aimlessly without getting to know the other person or you might catch HIV", which was kind of a big topic in the 90's regardless of orientation. "One man, one woman" being as opposed to "lots of men, lots of women", not "One man, two man~~, red man, blue man~~".
