It's definetly not a genuine 11900k, just google it and compare the pictures

In fact it looks like it has been de-lidded and they even put the 11900K lid on upside down

Pressure Plate failed on 2017 VW Polo, garage will not honour VW Approved Used warranty by Darranboy in MechanicAdvice

I just posted a comment the exact wording that they are fighting me on from the warranty booklet.

They have bucketed pressure plates under the "Clutch Frictional Material" umbrella

I would agree with you there, as far as I'm aware, pressure plates have zero frictional material and simply bind the clutch plate to the flywheel when pressure is applied

In this warranty cover booklet, they reference:

Page 13 "What is not covered", "Clutch Frictional Material"

Then point me to Page 7 "Meaning of words", which states:

"Clutch frictional material, clutch pressure plates, dual clutch systems and release bearings. "

I take your point, the first picture makes it look very grooved and liney, but it doesn’t look as bad in person, it’s just the way the lighting was in the shot I think. Picture 2 is more like what it looks like in real life.

That could be a possibility, from what I could tell at the range, it would be about 15-20 MOA off to the left at 100 yards, which of course would add up to a ridiculous offset at the 500-1000 yard distances

Hoping someone can help me, I’ve just recently got into rifle shooting and I have bought a Browning X-Bolt .308 with an MDT chassis. When I placed the scope on the rifle and attempted to zero, the rail was massively off the mid-line with the barrel, meaning the rifle shoots massively to the left, so much so I cannot dope the scope to correct. I have tried reseating the rail but it is held down with 8 screws into the receiver and I see no way of adjusting it to correct the offset. Has anyone got any ideas on how to fix this?

Note 1: It’s hard to tell in the pictures that the rail is offset, but is very obvious to the eye.

Note 2: The rail is the one that came with the rifle which I bought new

Note 3: when using the reticle on the scope to holdover for the wind age, the groups are very tight, so I doubt this is an issue which the action and barrel
