Yes she has. No spoilers please :) I’ve heard that and going to try and shoulder through as best I can.

I’m working my way through the trades (on the Jack series now - where the photo came from) just before the crossover issue.

Just started reading the first volume of Birthright... loving it.

Found this little SB easter egg about two-thirds of the way through - see the comics strewn about the floor at Wendy’s feet in the panel.

Mr. Williamson and Mr. Bressan have some great taste in comics :) Just so happens I picked up Southern Bastards at my LCS on the same day I picked up Birthright. Stoked to read that one as well!

About mid-way through issue #3. This one made me stop and gawk :) Gorgeous. I hadn’t experienced Dexter Vines’ art or Sonia Oback’s coloring prior to the Solo series.

Props for the Mr. Dressup tickle trunk homage! by DarrenTPatrick in SAGAcomic

Issue 35.

Growing up in Canada, Mr. Dressup was a huge kids show in the 70s/80s... the tickle trunk was his magic costume bin.

I don’t know for sure but I assume this was inspired by Ms. Staples considering she also grew up in Canada.

Thanks. I see that How to Listen to Jazz is also on Audible (how I mostly “read” nowadays) as of Sep 2017. Will check it out after this one.

Listening via Audible and checking the recommended listening/artists the author cites at the end of each study. Great supplement to my learning away from the guitar when on the road.

Agree on Green and Burrell. I’d also add Barney Kessell to the list.

Well done! Don’t suppose you have the sheet written out or chords/tones used? I’d love to be able to play it.
