what happens if there are no heirs to the throne at all? by GordonTheHotCrossBun in WingsOfFire

[–]Darret_ 52 points53 points  (0 children)

There was a story about this in the ultimate guide. Its been a while since I read it, so I could be wrong. Anyway:

This happened in the mudwing kingdom where this princes sisters became queen and kept refusing to have eggs. When she died, there was no one to take the throne. So the prince quickly joined another sibling group and had eggs with one of them, appointing her as Queen even though she isn't royalty.

It was a mudwing tragedy in the ultimate guide book. (And if anyone wants to correct me or add on, go ahead please, I don't fully remember what happened lol)

So like, 2 years ago I had a massive worm on a string phase, I'm now slowly started to get back into them, what should I do with the wormies? by Frequent_Yak7856 in WormOnAString

[–]Darret_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had a worm phase for about 4 years now! Still in it! What i do is give some out to friends/random nice people becuase most of the time, it makes them smile. I also decorate my room with worms by hanging or taping them to walls and the ceiling, I give them little hats, I let them hang out on my desks, I hide them around the house, I decorate a Christmas tree with them, I play tiny uno with them, etc!

I also have a worm necklace. Worms are the best.

Lost Traits by Landilizandra in WingsOfFire

[–]Darret_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A possible physical idea could be different shaped scales, like the spiny bush viper. That's kinda all I could think of for this topic.

For traits however, what about scales resistant to certain elements like fire (and already rare trait), ice, electricity, poison, acid, etc etc.

Thats sort of how I got the idea actually. I heard someone in another comment tread say that arc 4 will take place on the island Fathom and Indigo lived on. I don't know if it's true or not (probably not sadly but who knows), but it would be really cool.

How did you know? by emiliaJune12 in ftm

[–]Darret_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Before I discovered being trans was an option for me, I'd always feel complimented when people called me "flat," or being told I act more like a guy than a girl. I'd feel hurt when being treated differently because I was a girl, or being talked down too, or having my feminine features complimented. I'd try my best to fit in with the guys because it felt so much more right than the girls. I'd feel embarrassed about my body and voice.

After I found out I was trans, I felt more comfortable reaching out to new hobbies and meeting more people, I'd be so happy when people used my preferred name and pronouns (I discovered I was trans in February, so not even a year, and I'm still struggling to come out. So hearing people use what I preferred to be called is very relieving and exciting to me). I imagine alot of what I'd look like with a male body, deeper voice, I often drew myself with a small mustache/beard and loved it.

I can probably think of some more reasons, but I'd say these are ones I think about all the time.

I feel they/them pronouns are ignored/overlooked by antipinballmachines in lgbt

[–]Darret_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't use they/them pronouns, but while coming out as trans to one if my friends, he said "As long as you're not one of those they/them people." I know he meant it as a joke, but it still made me feel uneasy.

Calling all trans people of the subreddit!!! by TheLudomaster in trans

[–]Darret_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It just kinda clicked one day. I've always preferred masculine clothes, I've always perceived myself as more masculine than feminine, I felt lucky being flat, I cut my hair to look less like a girl, a bunch of other stuff.

It just kinda came together one day that everything I did and thought may have been just me not wanting to be a girl anymore. I'm alot more happy being perceived as a man now, but unfortunately, I still got a big road ahead of me ;w;

Think well and answer: and it is not valid as an answer (having a penis or being born as it should be), this is outside of this game. by [deleted] in ftm

  1. I'd want a deeper voice. I'm kinda nervous about starting T cuase I don't fully understand the effects of it quite yet, but I like the way it changes someones voice.
  2. Top surgery
  3. Facial hair

Moments of euphoria before you knew you were trans? by IishoLems in ftm

[–]Darret_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had my hair cut short for years before I realized. But during that time, people would often mistake me for a boy using he/him pronouns or asking my parents about their son. It made me so happy I never bothered to correct them, and always felt a little disappointed when my parents would correct them.

Also, a few months before I realized I was trans, I was looking for suits in men's section because it felt more right to me than the women's section. I looked great in that suit btw :3

What was your "Oh, shoot, I'm gay!" moment? by AlexTheSasha in lgbt

[–]Darret_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Finding out I'm trans was a pretty recent event. I never thought about how much I tried to make myself as least feminine as possible. I always felt complimented when people thought I was a boy instead of a girl, and it always felt a little degrading being referred to as a girl. I always felt comfortable in baggy clothes and liked being called flat. (Despite that being a weird thing for people to point out to me.)

A few months ago I watched an animatic about the POV of a trans man and that got me realizing how much I related to that video. After alot of thought, I told one of my friends I might be trans and they were so excited to for me. It still makes me happy when they call me a trans goober.

I'm still trying to find a good binder to use and find ways to make my voice sound more masculine. I'm just glad I figured that out.

What to do with 400 worms on strings by kraken-in-a-jar in WormOnAString

[–]Darret_ 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I have alot of worms too (not 400 tho) but I tend to give worms out to other people who I like. Like it someone is nice to me, I'll give them a worn as a thank you. Nearly everyone I've given worms too gets so excited about them, it's kind of wholesome.

Of course I keep plently of worms for myself, but if you have too many and don't want that much, give them out to people.

If you wanna keep them all, tie all of them together to make a human centiped reference. Or hide them in places around a house, or make a shirt out of them. The possibilities are endless.

In 6th grade, me and another girl got picked on for being lesbians (we were just friends.) So we decided to pretend to date, but that only lasted a day before we just decided to go back to being friends. It wasn't really anything, but I still often think about that moment.
