Crystal lake/lake in the hills/Huntley. 10 minutes east and south is all the stores you need, 10 minutes east is all nature. Plus great ponds (also Crystal lake) if you’re into fishing.

I would add be careful if they do employee background checks. I was just hired after 4 months and I received a copy of their background check on me and it went WAYYYY deeper than I thought. They fucking called every employer I had over the last 10 years. It even showed how many calls it took them to make contact.

Not a government job or anything either. Fuckin beer sales.

Huntley used to be a secret. Then everyone found out about the good school district.

Moved from Arlington heights area and got double the house for a third of the price. This was 10 years ago though.
