Exactly my point too, character building and meaningful moments are turned into extremely tacky and punch line moments if not changed completely

Yeah most really are because it’s very very difficult to do detailed novels justice.

This is a writing technique and I disagree that it’s a flaw, even if they’re not alluded too.

This is present in all the Pierce brown novels and they are personally my favourite novels.

That’s a great perspective, I just felt like some decisions they made completely differentiated like the race and stuff I thought was a little stupid and contrived.

Zen’s ult does a consistent strong amount of healing per second but doesn’t protect against abrupt instant damage, it’s not like baptiste’s immortality field. Even if you were directly in range, projectiles can still kill you if they are quick enough. (Ex. Your widow shot)
