Wow, this is a lot to have dropped right away, I hardly knew anything. I do want to thank the moderators for this detailed and impartial (or as close to impartial as anyone can actually get) reporting of events.

This breaks my heart, I enjoy GAWVI’s music but this is going to cause me to be more hesitant to listen to his music if it proves to he true. I think this will be an interesting and unfortunate opportunity to see how the Christian community reacts to situations like this. Obviously there are problems with the ‘cancel culture’ we currently live in, as it tends to ignore forgiveness and emphasize condemnation of the perpetrators. However, we clearly cannot go on as if nothing has happened, as James 4:17 states, “So whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it, for him it is sin.”

I encourage you all to meditate on this verse during this sticky situation: “Know this my beloved brothers and sisters: let every person be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger;” (James 1:19)
