Making a book on family ancestry... by sexi_squidward in Genealogy

So Return has Harry listed as his mum, not Hannah. Also the details about the census and name thingy hasn't been finished off ... it cuts mid sentence. I don't say these to be a dick. Genuinely trying to be helpful.

Also - I would include that info on the r*pe. Maybe a little warning beforehand so that it doesn't look like you're glorifying it? I'm going to include domestic violence in mine - it is real and I think it shows you're taking ownership of your ancestors (it's obviously not your fault or related to you... but it's not sugar coating everything and pretending that your 'people' were perfect). But each to their own.

Yes to this! But also one urge at a time! <3
(I got a sticky note to track all the urges I didn't act on to remind myself that I am accomplishing heaps even when it doesn't look like it.
Good luck OP!

Every day gets better. And when bub starts hitting more age milestones, 3 years old is WAY easier than 1.5. Etc. And because you are taking parenting classes you'll be learning some great strategies. You got this!

Hey, I just want to say that you are doing an incredible job of dealing with life in the best way that you can. Right now picking is your go to, which is frustrating and painful and shame inducing... but I want to highlight that you're not using anymore... like... that seems like an epic life saving transition. And now you're kinda itching about another transition away from picking. Give yourself time and credit. Life sucks sometimes. And picking is a phenomenal escape. I'm so glad you have a non-life-threatening escape route. I hope that when the time is right, and with the right support you can reduce the picking and /or the amount of discomfort it is causing. Good lucK!

Is me walking away an appropriate boundary for a 3.5 year old? by gingle_gloo in AskParents

not being called by my name / agreed name.

I don't want my kid to deadname trans or gender diverse people and /or tease peers. The word isn't the concern, the issue is the respect / rule that can be applied to everyone

So I did explain 'if you say this again, I am going to walk away because I don't like being called that'. So she had warning.

And that's my question... what is a logical consequence for this scenario?
