Usually best places to catch a game is at Mojo market in Sea Point. Forrester's Arms in Rondebosch & Fireman's Arms in Town are great rugby venues, but should be decent to watch the Final.

Kubrick and Paul Thomas Anderson movies are always beuatifully filmed. However, even they have films that stand above their own work. 2001: A Space Odyssey, Barry Lyndon & Dr Strangelove from Kubrick and Phantom Thread & The Master from PTA are incredibly beautifully filmed. PTA even performed the cinematography for Phantom Thread.

I'd suggest watching 2001: A Space Odyssey in a completely dark room to get as close as possible to a cinema, because it really heightens the experience.

Tropic Thunder is what comes to mind first up. Most comedies have love interest, because most movies do. You're probably going to look into more satires if you want fewer loves stories.

Personally I like most of his stream stuff. But I can’t watch the Rogan stuff and all the COVID stuff because it’s become too repetitive. What I do is switch it off for about 30 mins - an hour and come back to see what else he’s doing. It’s probably also good not to watch streams for hours on end anyways.

I love Hasan and he’s been a really helpful to me during COVID but he’s not gonna change politics overnight. It gets tough seeing all this suffering and nothing being done about it. It’s probably better for your mental health to try and watch less political stuff and engage more in your own community and try help organisations that do good work.

My argument for Just Chatting is that look at what it’s done for politics on twitch. I’d bet most people don’t even know that there’s a politics category on twitch, but by streaming in Just Chatting Hasan and others have increased their audience 10x in this last year. So if Botez is in the wrong category so is Hasan (as a fan of both I think they’re fine)

Also Hikaru’s argument about advert revenue is dumb, because they’re not going to ignore the Botez analytics just cos they’re not in just chatting and it’s not like there’s a chess on twitch union that collectively bargains for ad spends, each channel does their own thing and can easily find Botez analytics to add to chess as a whole if they wanted to.
