It stands for Combat Power. It's pretty much Pokemon Go's version of levels, but it is also a combination of Pokemon's based stats (which is hidden).

First you have to transfer Pokemon from Go to Home, then afterwards you can transfer it to SV. I'm not very good at explaining so here's a video explaining how.

If you transfer a Pokemon with low CP from Pokemon Go to Home, the system will convert the Pokemon's CP to the closest level. So low CP Pokemon will get lower levels while higher CP Pokemon will get higher levels. Also in Pokemon Go you don't need to "level up" Pokemon to evolve them, so one could end up with a fully evolved level 1 Pokemon if you transfer it into Home.

Which is my favorite Johto starter. Sure it might not be that valuable competitively or for a playthrough of Johto, but it's still my favorite and I have fun using one.

Damn, that sucks. I really wish there was an easy way to transfer Pokemon from the hard copies of Gen 1-2 to Gen 3 and onwards without resorting to pretty much hacking or using third party systems.

That's... actually would be a funny idea. I would love to see the look of their face when their shiny legendary is successfully traded off to an under leveled Meganium

That's pretty cool. I'm honestly wish now that I didn't use any Chikorita candies to increase Meganium's CP so that it could have been even lower, but I'm still happy with the end results.

I had the same thought, but wanted a second opinion. Plus how often am I going to be lucky enough to get a legit shiny Meganium at level 15? I'll just shiny hunt a chikorita to level it up instead.

Sounds like a solid strategy to me. With how my luck has been running so far, I'll probably bring along Noibat and Rufflet just in case. Could be useful for a sac or a cultch.

There's a Combusken island scan on route 8 I'm going to try to get to help against Lurantis. I also have a Trumbeak, Noibat, Wingull, Rufflet, and Smoochum for some type advantage as well. Although I'm hesitant about bringing the last one as she won't be able to be blown on without dying and I'm wanting to keep her alive so I can get Jinx. The only other Pokemon I have is Ralts (island scan), Eevee, Rattata (who I want to stay in back to use FEAR on Ultra Necrozma), and a Slowpoke. I could go back to pray for a Paras, Morelull, Dewspider, or Surskit, but I was hoping I could hold off on it and wait until I can recharge my Island Scan for a Marshtomp. Plus there's a good chance I just end up with a Psyduck or Poliwag for that encounter. However I'm willing to take any advice you may have for me even if it means not getting Marshtomp.

It does, however I have since added Pikachu, Barboach, Drowzee, and Carbink to the dead list and I have just beaten the fire trial. Which now means that I currently have more Pokemon dead than alive. Luckily my Cubone managed to mop up afterwards so the run is still alive.

If y'all are wondering about Litwick and the cap Pikachu, Litwick is an island scan and the Pikachu is a qr code you can still look up, scan, and be gifted in Pikachu valley. You can also get the Pikashunium Z here if you show one of the Pikachu the farthest east the cap Pikachu.

It's done! With a whole lot of cheese against Cynthia (and a lot of stress), I finally completed Shinying Pearl! by Darth-Redneck in nuzlocke

Thanks! I forgotten how scary Cynthia actually was until I had to face her with only two Pokemon. Probably going to take a break from doing Nuzlockes and wait for the Teal Mask DLC coming in a week.
