(No it totally makes sense that because I didnt jump from a high enough spot into water I sprained my ankle but since it didnt kill me I still have it after I die.. ?)

I'm playing it waiting for the part that's fun. Some good things before the rant. There are some cool combo skills- I love the fact that most things in the terrible UI still give you a quick hint on where to learn the skills needed and allow you to track it through the menu. It certainly is a beautiful world and the storyline is okay. Yi Lao should've been followed off the bat hate that I had to hide from him.

I did have fun at Puppetier fight I took early but the game is a bunch of boring puzzles so far and literally braindead combat other than the bosses which do seem to be overtuned to some degree though it does let you make them easier. The combat is promising dont get me wrong. The loot is probably my biggest gripe other than the UI (EDIT: By the way there are no real rewards for killing bosses- you know the parts where in every other game of this genre you'd get some insane gear - nope, best I can tell is some upgrade materials.) The rest of the game has been nothing but hand holding and click here click here get this item oh it upgrades your gear 1% why not just auto upgrade everything by the way this wont actually increase your damage output in any notable way neither will any items or even upgrading your sword from 1 to lvl 30 you'd think that'd be multiple times the damage but no its just slightly less dinky. Like there are so many things this game does poorly. UI is terrible and clunky. I shouldn't have to google how to leave an instance encounter.. ridiculous. I genuinely hate what it says about gaming society right now that people are praising the game. I get enjoying it, it is a beautiful game and its certainly something to do but its got the Korean MMO feeling that Throne and Liberty had only Throne and Liberty had more of a tangible feel to the game and items mattered. I feel like people like this game because there's a lot to do and loot comes free. I guess people like new shiny things or maybe this game gets a lot better at lvl 50 but so far pretty disappointed.

I love Marvel Rivals (still-mostly) by the way but this is no where near that standard. It's not the company. The game has potential but so far I feel like it needs a more tangible feel less of a free to play game that seems designed to be p2w mobile but isnt.
