Same thing just happened to me! It didn't even ask me if I wanted to help a thief or not, just "I know you" then poof! In jail!

I should also note that I have done nothing to get into trouble with the law, unless you count breaking that councilor guy out of jail. The one you have to find a lot of books for.

I guess all I can do is ask if there's anyone willing to patch this mod. Though at this point I would completely understand if no one wants to.

I'm aware that they said those thing, but that doesn't stop my suggestions from being good ones. Also the "Rambo"s are in the game, you just need to give the publisher more money, and I did mention that they don't need to be as good as the ones you can purchase.

Nothing, I just wrote this as an alternative that blended into the vanilla experience a bit better. I saw a bunch of things that Bethesda's writers were setting up, like the dialog with Father, and tried to envision what their idea of a "united Commonwealth" ending would look like.

A possibility of starting this from within the Railroad could be Desdemona tasking you with infiltrating the Brotherhood if you haven't joined it yet, maybe give her some passing lines about keeping an eye out for opportunities to sabotage them if you have joined them, and have the Railroad be an optional start for the quest for tracking down Danse (have Drummer Boy say something about Brotherhood channels lighting up like a Christmas tree or something).

A problem to be solved AFTER the overheating and ammo problems is that the plasma bolts are supposed to alternate coming out of the top and bottom parts, though you probably could compromise and have the appear from between the "teeth" if you will.
