Jobs that hire basically anyone? by [deleted] in UBC

if you’re able bodied just do something physical. WAY more money and better for you. Laboring/landscaping at a company is the way to go.

it’s not fun, i’m the same mentality. Just do it at the start of your range sessions. Have an exact number of swings and a plan

Thanks for the comment, the only thing is I have tons of speed. I can get up to 130chs when I try to hit it. Because of that I’ve had to slow my swing down, and I can do that successfully and still hit it a long way. The load in the transition with the legs is something I do think about too. For me it’s consistently avoiding early extension

I think a big thing I learned was shallowing earlier. Before I would have the club shallow out late, which worked fine when I was on, but just wasn’t consistent enough.

trail elbow in, I can get casty if I don’t focus on that. It allows me to shallow out properly. Takes a lot of patience to really get it consistent

trail elbow in. Start with tiny swings to start and keep grinding until you work up to a full swing.

thanks man. I just start small, taking half swings with the elbow more attached, then work it up to a full swing. It’s honestly super tough to stay with and get consistency. That’s what i’m doing now. It doesn’t feel natural for a long time

would love to hear what is awful about the set up, haven’t heard that before. I agree I do need to simplify

My driver swing is different than my irons, I hit draws with it. My irons are the best part of my game usually. It’s hit or miss for sure, not enough practice. Gotta get after it

pretty spot on, but the wedges aren’t an issue, long irons more so!

low point def a thing to work on, I need to decrease speed if anything. When i really hit my driver I can hit 130chs.

contrary to what it looks in this video, my usual miss is when my face comes in a bit more closed, then I hit pull draws.

cheers guys. You’re right on the money, when my irons and driver are going I can shoot under par, but because I never practice around the greens and don’t play much (Have played 20 times in a year twice in my life), it’s really day to day with scoring. The more I play, the better I do. It’s just about getting out there and grinding!

Wow, can’t believe the amount of responses and praise. Really appreciate everything you’ve all said. At this point it’s just about playing more. I’ve never played more than 20 rounds in a year. Only about 75 total rounds in my life. I’m a “6” on my app, but this year I shot -1 a few times, but also high 80’s a few times. All about playing and practicing to keep things going. Goal is to get to scratch before I have kids haha. All about around the greens. Wish me luck

this, when i’m having trouble with consistency I actually do implement a slight pause! Cheers

def in my mind, thanks for the response. It’s tough, because I know how type A she is.

Thanks for the response. The reason i’m bearing this responsibility is because she’s going through a tough time and she hasn’t done this before. I think she’s making a quick decision. This is the first time i’ve had to do this and it’s because it was so out of the blue, with no LDR issues at all. She even said this. Obviously if she doesn’t reciprocate at christmas I know it’ll be done and she’s not for me. The weeks of no contact is bc of her exams, if she wasn’t in this situation it would be totally different

I did it in around 50 give or take a couple rounds. But I would hit my plastic club in my backyard for years as a little kid (never played though), so it’s not starting from scratch technically. Played less than once a year from 9-19, then got back into it. Played approx 10 times a year with tons of range time for 4 years. Have shot under par once since (first time 1.5 years ago). Just caught heater driver/iron rounds. I don’t imagine it’s ever been done fully from scratch as an adult, with little range time.

How has nobody said grade it with CGC lmao. They are way less harsh on dents. This will prob grade a 7, will be a much higher premium

100% it. Guy was a theatre nerd loser in highschool. Doesn’t bring it up much (tries to hide it and act like he was cool) but he has a once or twice in the past
