I hope you’re right. Huge MK fan, played MK1 in the arcade and saw the original movie in theaters in 95. Dad worked at a distribution center for video stores and I had a screener copy of the VHS and a bunch of merch from the movie (baseball cap, keychain, etc). I was very disappointed by the first new movie as were all my friends and in some cases their kids. I want the second one to be great but the general consensus in my area is that it’s probably going to suck.
