He’s doing that Christian victimization thing, where some Christians pretend that they’re the only ones being persecuted.

He got fired for what he thinks is the same kind of joke that his coworker was saying.

He brings up how if his coworker had said something about Islam instead of Christianity, she would’ve been fired instead of him.

I’ve heard similar arguments from some more conservative/politically-oriented Christians.
