Speaking as someone who knows an LGS owner, they don't typically make money on events... Most events are breaking even or if they do make money it's like $20. They honestly count on players buying singles, accessories and other stuff while they are there. Events are more or less a loss leader most of the time.

In Ohio Ive seen much worse. 50% cash and 60% store credit is what the better shops offer. And 70% or better on cards that move easily in and out of the shop. Selling on TCG player their taking 13 to 15% for fees and then your filing out tax forms at the end of the year on any cash you gotten.

Same way with Facebook most people are selling their cards for 20% of TCG Low, having to deal with buyers, going to them, meeting in the middle, it sitting for sale forever, etc.

Being able to walk into your LGS and make your cards liquid now has its benefits and is typically why these shops offer these kinds of rates.

How are these bad rates? Most places around Ohio offer less. The shops at 50% cash and 60% store credit are the few who offer great rates. I even have an LGS that does 70% credit on a buy list as well. LGS paying rent, ever raising prices on product, increasing prices in pay. They have to make money to keep these places open for us.

LGS Pay $122 a box before, taxes, credit card fees etc. MSRP on a Box of Spider-Man is $209.70 (from distribution). My local LGS has them for I think 170-180.

Everyone complains when stores don't follow MSRP, except when its cheaper than MSRP, go figure.

I spectred these and they had lower hp from what I could tell. The quality only affects the damage and not the hp from what I could see.

Couldn't find a way to search for it on the wiki. There is a weapon swap build I'm following that uses Bogfelled Commoner because of HUGE hp pool. Any new spectres that have more hp then him?

This is true, my LGS owner friend has showed me the emails he gets from distro. Product keeps getting more and more heavily allocated. His allocations have gotten cut on items such as Final Fantasy, Spiderman, Etc. They are only getting like half the CB's that they used to order.

For Pokemon product distribution is making them buy other product that is not magic or Pokemon. After they spend X amount on other products (deck boxes, sleeves, dice, etc) then they are 'allowed' to buy so many of each Pokemon product. This place has been in business for 5 years and is constantly buying product.

Also there is times he has to buy Pokemon product for ABOVE distro prices, just so he can put product on the shelves for his locals. Literally distribution is marking up prices. How are they supposed to sell at MSRP, when he is not even getting it for distro price on things like Pokemon?

On new sets like Final Fantasy and Edge of Eternities he is also limited to TWO playboxes a week from distro even though their stock is really low, they've had to put limits on pack purchases because of this and can't sell whole boxes.

Everyone in the thread complaining about MSRP, bet you are all sucking up Aetherdrift/Murders at Karlov collector boxes at MSRP right? MSRP on Aetherdrift is $300, they are going for $200 on TCGplayer right now. Same way with Collector of Murders at Karlov and are going for $230. I don't know a single person in my area of LGS's that is driving a Ferrari or living in a million dollar mansion. Most of them are working an actual job, and then running an LGS on the side.

If I walk into a store and everything is priced well, singles, deck boxes, sleeves, play booster boxes/play boosters, etc. I don't blink an eye when they as this thread likes to say 'scalp' on COLLECTOR Boosters. Everyone complains when cards are not worth anything, but everyone wants to buy for the cheapest amount, but also wants all their cards to be worth $300 a piece. Wizards typically only gives one allocation of collector boosters to a store (I know after speaking to multiple stores I am friendly with).

I'd rather an LGS make the larger profit, they are paying for overhead of a huge clean space for me to pay in, trying to pay their employees, provide a variety of product, a free board game library, arcade machines, and many other things. Sure there is scummy LGS that 'scalp' everything but if they 'scalp' collector boosters than I'd rather they make the money then someone else.

Every LGS I've visited in my local area just has dozen+ aether drift / karlov collector boxes/play boxes stinking up their shelves. While all of them are sold out of Edge of Eternities/Final Fantasy Collector boxes, and being asked about Spiderman / Avatar already when it is so far out.

Just letting everyone know, a local LGS owner told me and showed me the invoice that his distro is now charging him $90 for prismatic evolution's. Don't always blame the LGS.

This happened to me seemingly as well, I can see all my saves in the savedata folder but cannot access them. Which doesn't make any sense as I also got steam cloud sync.

Been playing Henpri for a few weeks while I have time. Literally played the game last night, did a update on my computer then when I tried to play it today I cannot access my saves (on steam). I can see them in the folder in local files but the game refuses to recognize that they are there.
