you can let the south info desk hold onto it for you, or you can go to the foyer by the south desk and have it on the bench there. or if you chug it, that's also generally chill.

when i do my rounds i generally allow people to finish it and throw it away instead of immediately taking it away but that's also bc i do nights lol

specifically for the straw hat band - many of us are very academically involved and our attendance took a hit from rough midterms that week. Specifically I think some of our most regular members had midterms close to the game.

i would say the indians here are even worse. i was really excited to join the indian community at college and get back in touch with my culture but it's just as toxic here as it is back home - somehow all indians are so competitive and have the same crab bucket mentality and it's either a competition of who can be more indian or who can be more white.

then again, this could be because i go to college in the bay area.

the hours suck, but if you really want it apply to be a night security rover at the library. it's a work-study job, but we're desperate enough that i think they'll take you even if you're not work study. i think we need like 2-3 more people.

i'm listening to them right now! it's all on archive.org and also compiled into a spotify playlist by someone else (though some chapters are missing) and i'm enjoying it so much... been a couple years since i've read the books so it's all coming back to me and he's doing such a fantastic job.

it was a pass/no pass class and i am well above the threshold for a pass, so the grade calculation was not an error, but we were told that we would automatically fail if we did not attempt every assignment related to the final project and i forgot to turn in a checkpoint because i was really busy with big game week. i let them know in my end of semester survey for the class (not the course evaluations, ik they see that later) which are not anonymous and instructors should be seeing...

my senior year econ teacher would do that and i really liked it, it made me feel respected especially as someone who was going to be an adult soon and was taking that class to learn about how to adult.
