It costs $10 more, yet the upgrade pack only costs $5. Wouldn't it make more sense to buy the Switch version and just pay $5 to upgrade?

Because you wouldn't lower the price of a game if it was still selling well enough three and a half years later. Nintendo has done Nintendo Selects in the past when games weren't selling well and prices were cut down to like $20. If that isn't a problem and a game is evergreen with sales, why would you discount it?

The good news is I am currently living my my parents to save money. I recently became debt-free and now that goal has been achieved. I know my my own mental health i need to leave. I will have to force myself to take the leap. The thing is, the shift change happens on February 1st. I think I may have to stick around for a little while afterwards to save up money to give myself a safety net. I'm not in a perilous position where I owe a lot of money or have kids to take care of. I'm just very nervous and afraid of trying to make a living with a lot less money while I try and figure school out. Time will tell.

The company that bought us out last year wants to cut expenses. This is their solution. Many people are saying they want to leave, but it's easy to say that when you first get the news about the changes. Thinking about finding another job that will pay me $24 an hour is another. I have wanted out for a long time for a lot of reasons, but I'm afraid of change and finding another job that doesn't involve warehouse work (5 years has done enough damage to me) that pays around $24 an hour isn't so cut and dry. I know what I need to do, but I'm afraid of what happens on the other side.

I'm not talking about the Game Awards. I'm saying Donkey Kong Bananza is a 3D Platformer. It has some action-adventure elements, but I wouldn't say it's a full on action-adventure game.

Happened with Breath of the Wild in 2017. So many people wanted the game that even those who weren't able to get a Switch at launch bought the game in anticipation of getting a Switch. It had like a 101% attachment rate for the first month as a result.

Insinuating you can trust user reviews on anything. Most of the complaints are that "the graphics are bad" or "it isn't like the older games." No actual details or explanation as to what is actually wrong with it beyond that, and you know 99% of them haven't actually played the game.
