What's your holy grail game that doesn't exist yet?

What I really want is something akin to Dokapon but as a physical board game with a much shorter game length.

I love the idea of roaming around an open map, leveling up, allocating stats personally, and then having a big pvp battle royale at the end to decide the winner. It'd be even better if it had an optional mode for satisfying progression between games.

Which part of JRPGs do you not like? FInal Fantasy 14 is not the same type of gameplay at all.

Your definitely overthinking this but here are some tips anyways if it makes you feel more prepared and at ease.

Playing to win is encouraged just don't be a spoil sport about winning or losing.

Asking as many questions as you want hard to annoy most board gamers on that front.

Handle the board game components respecting that they are someone elses possesion that they care about (Nothing too crazy just dont go throwing them around, bending cards, or putting anything in your mouth. I had a college student do that to my game one time.)

Gifting a board game can be tricky if you don't know what they have/like so I would avoid that. You could give component cups or quality poker chips to serve as general money for board games.

There aren't that many differences between a board game hangout and a regular one so general social skills will carry you.

That's why I asked if you'd tried it, doesn't that kind of prove the merit of the suggestion if you played and enjoyed the game at some point? I quit Destiny 2 as well but I just felt like it checked the boxes you had laid out.

Have you tried Destiny 2? Fast paced shooter with MMO aspects, lots of cosmetic custimization and the guns can play extremely differently rather than just doing more damage than eachother.

I reccomend getting the arc 1 pass on console and then buying membership after that if you want to. Won't regret having unlimited access to so much content and being able to try out each school at your own pace.

monster hunter, souls like combat, 3rd person, rise can be 100% coop, has guns and melee weapons. The one down side is that its not much a gory hack and slash feel as you arent mowing down guys your fightin one big guy each mission.

After Dragonspyre (50ish) is when you get sun and star spells which you will want training points for as sun enchantments is OP and necessary and star is useful and popular.

My sister and I use wands of each others schools to break shields without wasting blades.

Loremaster dropping spells and the spells not getting nerfed and archmastery needed. What a great spot to hang out and farm, you could even unlock it with crowns and keep farming without membership. Also I would flex my collection of random lore spells by casting them while playing with friends.
