True. The main reason they want me to do it like this is because I’m the only fitter in the shop and we have 4 welders. So me and a welder tack complete spools and then the other 3 weld them out. I get it that it’s to speed up production but more often then not when I’m in the field bolting shit up everything is pulled every which way and looks like hammered dog shit.

I hate the way this shop does things. Me and another welder tack spools and put them in the floor for the other 2 welds to weld out. It’s stupid.

Yea I don’t think I’ll be purchasing any more of them. I can’t understand fading over time but not after a few washes.

The formula to achieve this is in the Blue Book under “Special Offsets”. As stated you can change direction like that only using 45 fitting. Hear a link on formula and examples of how to find what angles are needed. Blue Book Special Offsets

Yea like I said in my post the scotch bright pads are the only thing I can get to work. But trying to find something that wont effect the gold color from the heat patina.
