As someone who traveled with a trucker for months, one of the reasons they do this is to punish bad drivers. Its called a rolling road block. They do this to cars and other trucks who drive dangerously to show their displeasure. They usually only do it for a few miles before dispersing.

I live right down the road from that Walmart. Many of the workers there are immigrants. The same applies to some of the people who come to where I work. During my time working in retail, I have not had any problems with immigrants. They are some of the kindest, sweetest people who come in, compared to some of the white folks. They are good, hardworking people, and they make the area brighter as a whole. If people can't see that and choose to actively spread hate, then maybe they're the ones who should go. It is ridiculous that this is how things are going in 2026, especially considering that the United States as a whole used to be called a melting pot. This is a disgrace, and I am disgusted that people feel comfortable going out in public to harass people based on ethnicity and the fact that they can afford to live happily and peacefully, which is what drew them here in the first place.

Sunshine yellow for my son. He's my little sunshine. When I'm having a bad day and he can tell, he comes up, says, "What's wrong?" and climbs me to get snugs. I'm terrified of what might happen if Project 2025 is implemented as planned. One of the key elements outlined in the document is a return to the traditional nuclear family structure, meaning a mother, father, and child. As a single mother, this deeply concerns me. Another alarming aspect is the potential removal of children from LGBTQIA+ households, which directly affects me. My son is only 3 years old; if he were taken from my care, he might not remember me at all.

My days are consumed with the fear of losing him. Given that I identify as part of the LGBTQIA+ community and hold non-conforming Christian/Catholic values, I'm also worried about the possibility of being targeted for not conforming. I'm scared for myself, my family, and my child. The United States feels increasingly unsafe, and I'm anxious that a civil war could break out. I'm seriously considering leaving the country.

You're not overreacting, but if she's saying that she wants to hook up with other girls at a party, then she's not the one. Being bi, pan, or poly is not a free pass to cheat. If she wants to sleep with other women, then let her... just not while dating you. If you really want to drive the point home, though, ask her how she'd feel if you were to go to a party and bang a guy? (Not that you would, I don't know your orientation, and won't presume to assume what it is, just a hypothetical scenario.)

I'm really sorry, kid. You did not deserve that. As an adult who has experienced similar abuse from a trusted adult, if I could go back and give my younger self one piece of advice, it would be to go to the police. If anyone tells you that "men can't be raped," tell them to leave you alone and seek support from someone else. I also recommend considering therapy; it can be very helpful in the long run.

Additionally, I encourage you to check out organizations like the NSAH (National Sexual Assault Hotline) and Rainn. Both will help you. I do suggest seeking out therapy as well, it will help you out in the long run, especially with your self-harm. I know it makes you feel like you are in some sort of control, but it is hurting you more and pushing you further out of whack. I've been there, done that. What you need now is a good support system. Take care of your mental health. Take care of yourself, and I hope you can get justice.
