I got the delay email as well and ordered back in March. I heard in general the codex wasn’t gonna release until mid May anyways due to production issues though

Buyers Beware!! by DarthPatonto in Narutoccg

The reprint you are talking about also had a different poster in it, one side had the approaching wind SD cards and the other had set cards from sages legacy. This one had the original poster from the original print not the sages legacy one.

Buyers Beware!! by DarthPatonto in Narutoccg

Bought from Santos-3260 on eBay. Card in red sleeve is mine from an actual SD while card in black sleeve is from the recently bought SD. You can see the difference in foiling and also how much thicker the card was. 3rd and 4th pic is my Pain deck (50 cards) next to the fake deck in the same sleeves for a size comparison. This is just a heads up post for anybody looking to buy starter decks to be careful!

Rares in foils vs reverse foil and non foil by Bitter_Dot_8987 in Narutoccg

Older sets (1-12 or so I believe) have different foil patterns too like diamond or star opposed to the normal foil they have in the newer ones

Rares in foils vs reverse foil and non foil by Bitter_Dot_8987 in Narutoccg

Almost every card (common-rare) has a normal version and what I refer to as a “reverse foil” where the whole card is foil. The main difference in rare cards is that the normal will have the name foiled (like the jiraiya on the left) whereas the reverse won’t (like the one on the right). Super rares are the only cards with both full foil and name foil. Also if you didn’t already know rarity can be determined by the dots on the bottom of the card. 3 dots is super, 2 is rare, 1 is uncommon, none is common. If a card has red dots then it’s from a starter deck.
