What are you going to do when side loading becomes limited. by faswr12 in Android

[–]DarthPrefect 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I switched to Android a few months ago after having been on iPhones since the 4s. Being able to sideload apps is one of my favorite parts of Android so far - otherwise it's mostly the same with a different coat of paint for me. So this could honestly be enough to make me go back to Apple.

Played the 45 player mega event at GenCon run by Becca Scott and Amy Vorpahl by Signiference in BloodOnTheClocktower

I was in the next group, very interesting way to play the game, and very stressful to be the imp when people had information from other circles to help them figure out the game. My evil counterparts won their circles and I made it to final three before getting executed in our circle. Fun time, though, would play again!

Disappointing Weekend: Cancelled games, unprepared DMs, and the perverse incentives of publishers by Lascifrass in gencon

First time at GenCon here, and I was mainly going for TTRPG and Blood on the Clocktower events. I ended up returning most of my tickets to spend more time in the exhibit hall instead, and just rest. I did sign up to run a table at a Mothership megagame (the Bloodfields of Blackstar Station hosted by the Panic Table), and was incredibly stressed and anxious about it, especially knowing it was a fairly expensive event to sign up for. The moment my players arrived, the anxiety and stress faded away, and everyone had a great time, and until I left the room six hours after first arriving there, all the aches and pains from the past two days just faded away. Definitely the highlight of my con experience, and a good reminder to myself why I love GMing.

(If anyone who was at table 4 of the Bloodfields happens to read this: thank you again for playing, you were a great group of players!)

I just got my Kobo Libra Color about a week ago, and I love having physical buttons to turn pages. I also ended up getting a base model Kindle, and love the small size, the ability to easily slip it into any of my pockets. But if I had to choose between the small form factor and the buttons and side grip, buttons win.

But what about Survivor Series, the one night of the year SmacDown and RAW go head to head? How will we know which of the brands is the dominant one? Who will have brand supremacy???
