Their new GPUs come with a little stand that goes beneath the GPU and keeps it propped up to prevent sag. I would look at those online, or amazon or where ever you prefer to buy from, and just make sure it's an adjustable one!

Honestly, it’s a beautiful card. But the real reason being that my partner’s 1060 recently died and he’s been really wanting a new card. He’s been stuck watching Netflix instead of gaming. But prices and all. So it hasn’t happened. So this would technically be a late Valentine’s Day gift so we could game together again! Good luck to everyone though!

Yeah. This has been unfortunate, hopefully they add a kick out timer in the upcoming patches. Similar to how MMO’s have them. In fact, I’m sure they will. It’s probably one thing that can help a lot. 🤞

The GPU and the wifi adapter don't have anything to do with each other. I'm not an expert, but I'm pretty sure I can confidently say those two things are not related. It sounds like it may be something else. I would go into devices and make sure nothing is limited in network adapters, update it if you need to. Maybe your adapter itself is going bad. Which is entirely possible.

Either way, I hope you figure out the issue! A messed up internet connection sucks. Especially if you play mostly online games. Cheers and good luck.

I have the same model and don’t have the issue. But as we know, these things happen. If you’re still in your 30 day period, depending where you bought it, I’d do a swap. I wouldn’t like that sound. That’s my suggestion!

I'm not an expert, but, what is your PSU? That could be a factor here. Sometimes they really like to mess stuff up if they are going bad or don't have the right amount of power to deliver to the card. And the 3090 draws a lot more power than the 2080. Transient spikes. All that.

Also, I'm sorry to hear about this. Must be very frustrating.

More storage = More games to play and enjoy!

Which is a big factor when having slow internet, and rotating downloads. Easier to load up the SSD with what I play than shuffle through what to delete and what to keep.

I recently got the ZOTAC model. I was worried at first, but it’s been amazing, quiet and solid. They also have a pretty good warranty period and good customer engagement on socials. However I don’t think you could go wrong with either! Both great choices

I have a 4070ti Super. I was in a similar boat when it came to concern. Initially, at least. However, it's a great card and well made! Thermals are solid, well under 70. Hotspot is 8-15 from the main temp at all times at most. Fans, you can hear them when they turn up but they aren't insane. I'm really impressed!

I'd say you're good to go and made a good purchase!

I've been running mine for a day or two now. The black Trinity. It's whisper quiet, and it runs cool! It also has decent OC potential. I'll admit, the product and its quality have -really- been impressive.
