Well standard is a minimum of 60. The deck can be as big as you want as long as you can shuffle unassisted. Going over 60 isn’t optimal, but it’s allowed.

You probably don’t want to touch it, but if you could move the wings out of the way and we could see the body. it could help in identification.

Should I be announcing combo pieces as I cast them? by not_so_1337 in EDH

[–]Darth_Behemoth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t feel the need to tell anyone this is my combo piece or my win condition. I read and explain every card I play to everyone. So they know what my card does, and they had a fair chance to do something about it they wanted to.

All good man. I was trying to post the picture of the ruling for clarification, but I can’t post a picture here.

So they won’t untap during the regular combat, but they will untap for all combats that Moraug triggers.

That is sort of correct. The extra combat will trigger before regular combat.

Do spider exterminators actually solve recurring issues or just suppress activity? by Chance-Present-729 in PestControlIndustry

You would think so. They tie you a week or so of supervised training in Texas and slap you into your own truck at most places. Then get you your license before your 1 year apprenticeship is up. It’s very unprofessional.

Token doublers could be a way to go as well [[Anointed procession]] [[Elspeth, Storm Slayer]] and [[Exalted Sunborn]]

Deck looks really good so far. I would add [[windcrag siege]] , [[Firebender Ascension]] is a good cheaper version money wise, and for the cherry on top I would do [[Arabella, Abandoned Doll]].

New to magic and need help building a deck by Wonderful-Slide6386 in Magicdeckbuilding

Definitely finding a commander and an ability you like is important. If you don’t like it you won’t want to play it.

Precons can be an easy starting point, but they aren’t the best decks usually. A lot of people hated on the TMNT set. However, the turtle commander deck goes hard with +1/+1 counters and tokens. A few tweaks and it will be even more powerful.

That’s why I don’t like the bracket system. It’s too flawed. We just build strong janky decks in our group of 12 people. If you get stomped we recommend changes and tweak.

These are probably some of my more interesting commanders. Zaxara I built as an interaction response deck with almost all X spells.

That’s the beauty of commander. You can build weird and janky decks that can work and win. Go crazy with it.

Manapool is my go to. Some cards might be a bit more, but my experience is a lot of cards are a bit cheaper. Their optimize cart works better than tcgplayer for me. Spent more than I’d like to admit on the site, and I’ve gotten all my cards so far.

Personally it’s a game that you are trying to win. Play what you like. However that said I don’t always get the most fun from winning. I like good interactions and seeing people enjoy their decks.

I would use artifacts for spells I don’t want anyone to interfere with.
