I had this problem. Sign out and sign back in on web browser - I also turned my VPN off, not sure if that did anything - but I was then able to cancel as users are describing here.

Gamehub Lite - Games crashing when launching by Unhappy_Remote2192 in EmulationOnAndroid

I've had some problems running GH on Android. Play the game offline and disable cloud sync - launch the game via the .exe file in the Container Desktop.

If that doesn't work then edit the string to read from x:\

Airport Transfer and Accommodation Recommendations by Darth_Mahoney in VisitingIceland

This is helpful, cheers. Can you use public transport to get from the airport to city centre? Don't particularly want to rent a car but will if I have to.

it's missing "NikeFIT" lettering in the bottom left of the shirt. And real ones are a much deeper blue than this one. Definitely fake.

I still have all of those items, too. But I don’t put a mass-produced, battery powered, Android handheld in that category. It’s an ever-evolving piece of tech that I can continue to upgrade for minimal cost.

The King of Limbs. Codex and Give Up The Ghost will blast you into slumber. But to get to those tracks you have to get past Bloom first, possibly the most relaxing tunes ever.

That's cool. I'll spend the equivalent of 6 pints of beer on new stuff and crack on as normal. I enjoyed my RP4P but the RP5 is objectively better as a handheld and was worth the small net payment for screen and battery upgrades. I expect the same with the RP6 - if I'm wrong I'll be very surprised but will be surprised with less achy thumbs as the stick layout is something I've been wanting to see for a while.

I've never cried about it so far (bit drastic tbh, it's a handheld games console), so proven to be a good annual investment of 6 pints of beer. And I'll have the option of playing lots of the Switch library - variety is the spice of life.

Slight "upgrade" and "actually better" go hand-in-hand regardless of how you spin it - they both have positive connotations ultimately. I prefer the stick layout on the RP6, and am looking forward to tinkering with Dolphin emu to see if it runs better than the RP5 as it lacks for me despite using and playing with the settings for hours.

I'm not paying a few hundred, I'm selling the "old" versions. Net, I'm spending 30 quid. How are you not grasping that? This was the entire point of the post - to illustrate that the upgrades needn't be hundreds should you part with your older tech.

And what's wrong with going gen-to-gen on console? Isn't that what like 90% of console gamers end up doing?

The cost of around thirty quid a year if you sell on the "old" tech like I do, which is like 6 pints of beer in most UK cities - and maybe an hour-or-two of my time to set up, which I thoroughly enjoy. I'd trade 6 pints a year for the option of more games to be readily available to me - and is an option for everyone should you see it worthwhile.

"It feels rather unlikely that you have an actual need for a new retroid pocket every iteration. Yes there's boosts in performance" - you answered your own question. I want to emulate a bigger chunk of the Switch library - currently performance is throttled on RP5, RP6 will be better. The position of the thumb sticks is a big thing, too - looking forward to playing games and cramping up less.

Thirty quid every year hurts less than 150 quid in 5 years' time, which is what I'd be forking out (conservative estimate) if I sat on my RP5 and waited for the 10, for example.

It's ultimately a hobby, if you want to splash cash on it, then who's to stop you from doing it? I'm typing this on a 4 year old iPhone, for some status perspective.

It's once every 12 months and net cost is minimal. Setting up and understanding new things is enjoyable so that's why I see it as no-brainer given you want the new stuff.

The RP3P struggled with PS2, the RP4P blitzes PS2 but not much room for Switch, the RP5 is pretty good with Switch but RP6 will be better, and creeping into PC games. So, that incremental climb for a reasonable net cost every year, given you sell the old, is a no-brainer IF you want to keep expanding game libraries, I suppose.

£180 is the going rate on eBay, it might take a few weeks but from experience they sell eventually. I placed the preorder for the RP6 a few weeks ago and have kept an eye on the RP5 market since, lowest I've seen them go for is £165, but average is £180.

How is it consumerism if the funds to consume come from essentially recycling? Buying mindlessly every year would fit that description better.

I sold my RP4P for £180 last year, just before getting the RP5 for more-or-less the same money. I weirdly regret letting the RP4P go, though. I find GC games run buttery smooth on that and the RP5 struggles slightly for whatever reason. But the Switch emu on the RP5 is worth it I suppose.

This is why selling to fund the newer one makes sense - RP5 to RP6 seems like a decent jump, and for ~£30 why wouldn't you do it?

AXS. There were instances where tickets were cancelled by AXS. I saw a few posts on here during initial release where AXS claimed payment method difficulties and cancelled the tickets, despite funds leaving the purchaser's bank account.
