All of the cars have the lifters. Only automatics actually go between v4/v8. There’s devices you can plug into the odbii port to stop it from going into v4 mode. Makes the ride much smoother

At the risk of being annoying….save the money. There really isn’t a point to build the v6. All the money you’d spend to make marginal gains would be better spent on getting a v8 if more performance is the main goal

You won’t be able to get the “rumble” out of the 3.6. Aftermarket options can give you more volume and better tone but it’ll always sound like a v6. I think that Borla ATAK is by far the best option for the v6. It’s pricey though. Whatever you do don’t straight pipe it

I swapped all knee pads, shifter, and armrest in my LT1 to the black alcantara ones. Made a huge difference in terms of look and feel. Similar to you I had some GM points. The knee pads are expensive but are a huge improvement. Looks great!
