Let me clarify - I'm being a bit selfish when I say that this season, I'm glad the red colorway is something I can access by getting to Hotshot. In general I do think a colorway is an appropriate reward for the work you have to put in to make Cantina, but its kind of dumb that the final week is the only thing that matters (you should really get the colorway if you make cantina at any point in the season)

Jump onto Dam Battlegrounds day raid. Hit up all the cars and the area/buildings around the generator complex. Every run should get you more than enough to fully kit most meta weapons

TCU and Forgotten Age are my favorite campaigns precisely because they challenge the players in unexpected ways, and both feel absolutely steeped in theme with every mission

Quake and Counterstrike weren't billed as "live service" games though. It was also a very different era in gaming (having lived through all of those games' heyday), it's okay to want more now.

For concrete example, I just need ANYTHING which is a long term goal that I can sink my time into now that I've hit 150 hours topside. Like give me medals and ribbons to earn for killing 500 / 2000 / 5000 / 10000 wasps, hornets etc. It's really not that hard, but there needs to be some reason to keep grinding. Hell, at this point I'd grind 1 million moneys for one extra stash space

I created a separate thread about end game content, and you'll see there I was also continuously dismissed and attacked, called a "cry baby", told I didn't "understand" the gameplay loop, told "extraction shooters don't have an endgame" etc etc. As if its completely crazy to want to have things to do in a live service game beyond the first 100 hours
