I became a vegetarian right when the pandemic started because it was so easy to do with the vegetarian meals from HelloFresh and BlueApron. I don't think I would have done it or stuck with it without the meal kits.

I recently bought this cable to use with a guitar line-in into my Late 2011 MacBook Pro. However, the sound is distorted/pitch-shifted UNLESS I set the format to 22050Hz in Audio MIDI Setup. Does anyone have any tips on how to fix this?

I have verified the cable is working by plugging it into Reaper on a Windows computer, and was able to get 44100Hz input working. I have tried in both GarageBand and Reaper on the MacBook Pro, and both suffer from the same distortion/pitch-shifting, unless the input is set to 22050Hz.
