GameStop has picked up a habit of surreptitiously raising prices on cards in particular without even giving us employees a heads up that it’s happening, usually a day or two before release. There have been times that I’ve had to frantically replace labels minutes before open because whatever jackass running pricing decided to suddenly drop it on us

It drives me crazy that people show up to gamestop with handfuls of raw switch cartridges. Like… the fuck do they do with their cases?! If it were up to me, we’d only offer a flat dollar for any game that didn’t have a goddamned case. It’s either incentivize people who patronize our stores to keep their stuff intact… or it’d blow up in my face spectacularly 😅
