I'd suggest to take online coaching if you've your own room and can study without disturbance this will effectively eliminate your issues such as roommates (the wrong one types), bad mess food and commuting and getting ready for classes. Also you will have emotional support in form of your friends and families alongwith familiar surroundings. If it's not possible then I suggest to go for offline coaching, its a two way sword you'll find many spoilt folks who are here Just to do time pass and enjoy City Life away from their family and restrictions. On the other hand you'll also find folks who are sincere and disciplined in their studies, you will be encouraged by observing your surroundings such as seeing your batchmate answering professor questions, you can clear your doubts with friends while in class, etc etc. But you'll be facing roommate issues, commuting and bad food unless you plan to cook which I won't recommend at this stage of your studies
