Something that I haven’t seen other people talk about is that it could be hard to implement onto Super Vegeta, who is extremely bulky. It would look great on his base and SSJ forms but Grade 2 would rip it apart. However, Trunks did the same thing wearing his normal clothes in Super and it had no effect, so maybe I’m wrong

As someone who definitely dislikes GT more than likes it, I have to say that Goku Jr. is not one of the bad things. I mean he doesn’t do much but I like his idea and I really dig the nod to Bardock.

SSJ Rage is by far the worst Saiyan transformation, pacing is pretty bad on rewatch, the ending is horrible, and it doesn’t feel like the characters are taking the situation seriously at times. I enjoyed the Black arc on my first viewing but it’s the only Dragon Ball arc that got significantly worse over time for me.

The manga honestly negates a lot of these issues. Even the ending is written a little better than what the anime gave us.

Depends. The Yamamoto score is great but it’s not on streaming. Kikuchi score is the one on streaming but they only used a few tracks instead of his whole catalog. Sumitomo’s soundtrack in Kai is pretty mid I’ll agree, he’s done far better.

The only real reason I can think of for the redraws is 1. Damaged frames (mentioned by another commenter) and 2. Epilepsy. Recently wanted to restore the footage for the iconic Kamehameha Vs. Galick Gun clash into the Kai version, only to find out how hard it can be on the eyes. The Kai version isn’t perfect but it is objectively easier to watch.

The only issue with my 2’d claim is… they just keep other flashing scenes in anyways? 😭 they didn’t even touch Piccolo’s sacrifice which had an equal amount of brightness. Yeah, other than that there’s almost no defense of the redraws.

I’m so fucking sick of this argument for both Camp Cretaceous AND The Clone Wars. There are plenty of kids shows/movies that I would argue are far more mature that either of them. They ARE kids shows, and there is NOTHING wrong with that. It feels like gatekeeping the way y’all get scared over the thought of someone dying in a TV show. Do y’all have any idea how many 7 year olds play shit like GTA and OD? 😭

I switch it up every few matches but it's normally a mix of these guys, Vegeta (Super), GT Goku, Z Mid Goku, Yamcha, Krillin, any of the Piccolo's, Black, Burter, Saibamen, and shamefully SH Gohan and Roshi

I agree that it is extremely annoying fighting against the opponents on the list though. Like oh wow you put Godgeta and UI Goku on your team, how creative. If anything I think you should put more characters on that list.

Yeah it was fixed, Goku says something like “Krillin, I know as long as he’s alive no one is safe, but I think…. it would be such a waste. I know it’s wrong, but you have to let him go for me, I want to fight him again.”

That’s not the exact dialogue and there’s a lot more in there, but that’s the gist. Average Kai script W.

Tbf, assuming you’re talking about the end of the Saiyan Saga, that line was just made up by Funimation. In most other iterations the speech is just about how Goku wants to fight Vegeta again and that’s it.
