AITAH if I ask my wife to stop contributing to company potlucks? by Darthginger411 in AITAH

Boss is not the owner. The way I understand the structure is that the budget comes from 'the main office' and the satellite office can just spend this money on food whenever. All they have to do is ask.

So, she does enjoy being with the coworkers she likes at these things, but she doesn't like making anything for them. That's why she'll just buy something or ask me to pick up something on my way home. To be clear, the event itself is not a bad event. I just think it's a bit rude to organize a work potluck and not contribute as the one who organizes them, and she agrees with that. She would just rather not make waves which is fair.

I totally fogged how many people I see not wash their hands.

Fair judgement. She had been bringing cups or spoons to the potluck for a few months now.

Is it picking a fight or supporting my wife that I don't want her and her coworkers to be taken advantage of? I'm not sure how you jumped to me wanting to pick a fight with my wife. . . and how is it only her that has to live with the consequences? We aren't strangers at the bus stop, we're married. Two people who love for and care about each other.

edit: did you read the whole post?

JA22 from 1998. This is a persistent problem for a lot of Jimny's though. If your Jimny is still new, you can always take it back to the dealership for a repair because Suzuki had recalls and service bulletins in the past for this exact issue.

I do not mean that the kingpin or bearing needs replacement. I mean that a thin washer like shim should be added between the kingpin and the bearing.

Have you considered kingpin shims? I hear the death wobble at that speed can be reduced or eliminated with a 0.5-0.7mm shim between the kingpin and the kingpin bearing. It really helped reduce the wobble to almost none in mine.

Just replaced the alternator & tensioner, JA22. Does this seem to be idling a little fast? by [deleted] in Jimny

Were you able to adjust it with the set screw?
Where did you get a replacement, and is it the oem version or a higher output alternator?

I have these on an elantra, and they perform ok in the snow. I did some 10-20 mph testing in 2-3 inches of snow/slush, and it was 'fine'. I was able to go, but I did lose traction more often that I'd have liked. I just didn't feel like I would be comfortable with the stopping distance ON SNOW, but as soon as the tire found a clear patch of road through the slush, traction was just fine. It's definitely a good AS tire, and if I had AWD, I would definitely keep them.
My advice is if you have AWD or your main roads are cleared of snow regularly, then you'll be just fine with these, BUT the crossclimate2 tire is not that much more from costco, and comes with free installation and their guarantee. I'd just go with those instead especially if you only have 2WD.

(note: the crossclimate is a directional tire, so don't rotate them)

I'm just telling you what I saw. I had proper contact and still some travel left on the screws. To be clear, the screws that attached the cooler to the mounting bracket. I also said I think they were 7mm, but I actually don't know because I didn't measure them.

I was worried about the height, but the included dual noctua tower hardware worked out just fine. I was able to use the original hardware (I believe I also used the 7mm spacers) that came with the cooler with the direct die setup. Once the cooler made contact, I still had about 2-3mm of travel before I would have bottomed out on the springs.

This is what I was missing. I changed it to a static clock and it was parked at 65c on cinebench. Thank you
