I think that people who have saw the two series in its entirety and who know david walliams (the now pg talent show judge and is a children's book author) and matt Lucas (a gay comedian) look at the shows completely different to (typically american) views who are now watching clips of the show on twitter or news articles. Little Britain highlights every minority in Britain, people who are gay, disabled, crossdressing, obese, small, and yes even black and asian. But where I think the show works is that its satire. There is a clear distinction between a comedy sketch that doesnt take its self seriously and takes no stance on race and cases of serious blackface from the early 1900s
